What’s a goal that you’re aiming for, by the end of this year? What’s holding you back from reaching it?

This is Labor Day (top) and last night (bottom)... 29 lbs but feels like a freaking million!

If I can do this, I know you can too.

Stop beating yourself up and telling yourself that you can’t!
All it took for me was to switch up my supplements. :
Now I’m more energetic and able to make healthier choices each day.
:
Eating clean and balanced 80% of the time with a treat here and there.
Working out just a little bit 3-4x a week and walking more steps during the day.
Meal prepping a few days at a time.
:
Do I have rest days? Hell yeah!
Do I have whole give up days? Nope, not anymore.
:
You’re worth it.
You’re strong and you’re able to do anything. 
I believe in you, so you should believe in yourself too!

Set goals. Go for them. Stop giving up on yourself, gorgeous!

After all, my biological parents gave me away.
I thought, "I must be worthless because even my own parents don't want me."

So, for most of my life, I struggled with self-esteem and abandonment problems.

I'd eat for comfort, because food can't leave you.
I'd settle for toxic partners because I didn't believe I deserved better.
I'd deny myself self-care because I thought that everyone and everything else was a higher priority than my own wellbeing.

It doesn't have to be that way.
Realize that you ARE worthy of love.
Maybe someone put you up for adoption as a child.

When was the last time you dreamed of a better life for yourself? 
What’s holding you back from it?
I never thought I’d love myself enough to consistently workout and eat healthier.
But here I am, doin the damn thang. 
I’ve been getting 10K steps/day or more, since the beginning of September, eating according to my macros, and drinking at least 110 oz of water each day, without feeling grumpy or restricted or hungry even once. 
I’m so glad I said yes to trying something new.

I can’t believe it: I’ve reached (and passed) the 75-pounds milestone! This is one of the MAJOR #milestones for me because it’s the halfway mark.

Most importantly, it is the result of activity-based daily goals: Exercising, eating healthily, getting enough water, and rest 😁
.
For anyone who asks me how to do it and how to keep it going, my BEST advice is: Find what works for you and is SUSTAINABLE. .
If you are restricting yourself from all your favorite foods, if you are doing exercise that you don’t enjoy, if you’re eating foods that you don’t enjoy just because they’re healthier options... stop that! .
Start over and make gradual changes. Add more water to your daily regimen, and start adding veggies. Make the veggies in a way that you’ll enjoy them, try new preparations until you find what you like.
.
Find exercises that you enjoy - or at least hate less. Do a little bit and slowly add to the length of your workouts until you get to at least 30 min/day. .
As you go along, you’ll find that you start to enjoy it more because of the way you feel afterward.
Overall, I want you to know: You’ve got this! 💪🏼 💕

We wore our grey shirts with patriotic red and blue logo the other day so I decided to use some @juviasplace Dalia and @stylcosmetics Jessica Rabbit for my blue and red shades! I didn’t blend great but I didn’t mind how it looked because I was just trying to go with a patriotic look LOL

Instead I thought about my goals, got up, took my supplements, and got to it.
The plan for the day was SHOULDERS and omg I feel so great now and proud of myself!
Did some time on the treadmill afterward while watching an episode of @TheOriginals LOL (guilty pleasure).

My friend messaged me today that she’s watching my progress and that I “make it look easy” to lose weight and get healthier.
Dude! What!? Losing weight is hard for everyone, and these  supplements I take, just make it a lot less difficult - so what y’all see on social media is me CELEBRATING that 😉
I just finished a weekend workout and I’m kinda impressed with myself. I’ve ALWAYS struggled to get my daily workouts in, but especially on the weekend. Today it was a non negotiable and it was yesterday, too. I got it done without any negativity or anticipation - YAY!

What's the longest weight loss plateau you've ever had?
I had hit a plateau and been holding steady for awhile... FINALLY I've busted through it thanks to my secret weapon
WOOHOO!!
It's not so much the weight that matters, but the way you feel.
The things you can now do, that you couldn't before.
Enjoying life more because there's so much more
that you can experience when you have the energy
to get out and about, and aren't held back by physical limitations
(like long walks or stairs or uphill inclines).
I love my body and I love getting to see what it can DO!

Did my eyes in black & gold in honor of my team (the Saints!) for the start of football season ☺️
The day after dental work my face was so sore 😭
Today I had more to do (permanent crowns and a root canal revision)... once I get the permanent crowns on, I’m good till 6-month routine checkup. Phew!
Lesson learned: Get stuff checked out and go to the dentist REGULARLY because if you wait until something hurts and go to the emergency place, they MIGHT not do a great job AND it’ll cost a TON - and you’ll just end up having it all redone a couple years later 😯

I really didn't want to get up this morning.
However, I have goals, y'all. 💪🏼 So I mixed my Hype Juice and chugged it...
took my morning supplement...
and I DID THE DAMN THING. 💥 👊🏼 Meanwhile, Miss Floof decided she once again must be involved 
in my workout.

This look definitely needed blending better and my application needs a LOT of work.
However I really appreciate how pigmented these shades are!
I just played around and used #LauraLee Karaoke from the #PartyAnimal palette (received in this month’s @boxycharm)
and @colourpopcosmetics pink from the Element of Surprise palette (also received in a BoxyCharm in a prior month!)
Along my brow bone and inner corner, it’s hard to capture but I’m using Phoenix from @shadebeautyofficial 😍
Oh - and @doseofcolors ”Lazy Daisy” liquid lip!
Tag me in your looks with either of these palettes, I’d love to come see and show you some love! 💕
