Dream diaries part 2. ~WOI
Hearing the groans, the unusual blistering speech; it was terrifying me. It was her voice.
As I look up, the world had changed, I was no longer looking across the ocean from the cliffs of Dover. I could feel the fog surrounding me, like a death squad — I could taste the bullets, almost.
Only now I wanted to run away, I was so afraid of what I was about to see. This woman, only feet away from me, except this time I could see her face — crystal clear as day.
I couldn’t describe to you what she looked like because every time I saw her, she looked completely different. It felt like a snap of the fingers made me forget her, every time I woke up. The strangest part is that regardless of me not remembering her appearance, I somehow always remembered it was her; the same person always haunting my dreams.
She started to say the words ever so clearly, ‘it’s all your fault, you did this to us.’ Getting herself all worked up, I didn’t even get a name from her. ‘Who are you?’ I felt confused and surrounded in the matter. ‘You could have saved me, you should have been there when I needed you the most.’ She began to cry and the tears smeared her beautifully-cast mascara, as she turned around to walk on; she peered across her shoulder and spoke clearly for me to hear her, ‘follow me in order to see, what it is that you seek to find.’ Perhaps this is my legacy?
This is my second edition to my dream diaries saga! I have been waiting to post this for days but I swear I have been in an endless loop of reading it and making sure that it’s ready. It has been an exciting time for me, this short-story series has really kept me on the edge, because I really have no idea where my mind might take me on this journey. Keep an eye out for my next part, coming very soon... Kyle L. Walker ️️ - 9 minutes ago
