What's left when you let go?
i. The left-overs of last night's dinner, your stomach just has a half eaten bread loaf and some curry, you tried to gulp with glasses of water but the rest you couldn't swallow.
ii. The part of yourself, that drags a walk, for the first time a heart weighs more than your body and shoes are metals nailed on burning concrete floors. So you sit down and suddenly there's all winter. You leave floors, cold.
iii. Blank pages of your diary where tears blot darker than ink. For the first time you learnt explosions make no noise. They are right in your throat the moment you wanna speak and they hear nothing but how you just want to sleep.
iv. The people who ask you to take left to reach a vintage cafe. You look at them confused thinking you should be inside it by now. You took left, already.
v. Your friends laugh to death reading memes and you just died while passing a smile. The hangout ends by the evening, you tear in the corner of a park, you live.
vi. They said let go because you can't hold on. You unblock the number at night daily, you sneak to type proses from breathless waiting but no calls blink. You let go and you hold on.
vii. Forgetting is a tragedy that was named after a man who knew no losses. He had a big house, a Rolls Royce, a wife borrowed from prosperity. One day, he woke upto his first love; years later. She smiled without dropping a tear, hugged him after a pat on cheek and left. The doctor entered the room telling "Twas the lady who donated you a kidney, you were unconscious after sudden failure. We tried contacting your family but they are on a vacation." viii. You let go of everything that should have stayed in indecisiveness, specially, "yourself." What's left is the just the turn you never took, just the text you never answered, just the call you never picked, just the friend you never stopped, just the time to whom you were always late, just the letter you never read and just the space you wanted. Too vast, that it left behind, universe. Sagarika
If this needs to read and realised, forward and allow it to be understood. We are running out of time. We need to stay. - 2 hours ago
