My first “public” #transformationtuesday 
My heart is pounding and my fingers are sweaty at the thought of sharing But here it goes before I chicken out!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the left I’m 6 weeks PP with Raya, the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life (not being pregnant) I was feeling down about myself, self conscious and dreaming of feeling “myself again”. I was learning to be a #momof2  while struggling with my colicky baby.  I was tired of giving into my excuses of why This couldn’t work for me. I was tired of comparing myself to other women wishing  I was them. So I stopped feeling sorry for myself and I STARTED! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the right I’m 45 lbs lighter ( close to 60 total) and close to 30 inches gone! I’ve gained confidence, feel strong 💪 and most importantly found self love! 💕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I used to hide my stretch marks and skin from the world because It wasn’t the “perfect body” but you know what, those stretch marks and skin came from growing my babies and I’ve not only learned to accept them but Ive grown to love them because they are reminders of the 9 months I got to hog my sweet babes to myself getting to know them before anyone else did and I will gladly show them off with pride! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m not one of the lucky one that the weight fell off because I was  breastfeeding after a 55lb pregnancy weight gain, I had to work my ass off to get results! But Ive done it  from the comfort of my home with 30 min workouts!  I’ve learned the importance of balance in my eating and still very much enjoy a treat 🍔🍟🍕 but I’ve learned I don’t need it daily. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m Raising 2 kids (for months by myself), running a full-time dayhome, and starting 2 businesses. I am beyond busy but I find time every day to show up for MYSELF!  seriously if I can do it, SO CAN YOU! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I'm on the struggle bus this morning. My husband woke the baby up when he was getting ready for work and she doesn't want to go back to sleep (I wish I could 😂) and in turn my toddler woke up.. so one has been up since 520 and the other since 550. 
Now my toddler will let me work out, she will even join me (I even bought her her own 2 pound dumbbells) but my baby will crawl on me, pull on me, and cry. Well, here goes Week 3 Day 2.. wish me luck yall because I am just not feeling it today, but I know the days I don't feel like it are the most important to get done.

In our world today we all seem to think if its not instant its not quick enough... We get frustrated when it takes more then a second to open a welfare on our phone or, when it takes two extra minutes to heat up our food.. Even With losing weight and getting healthy.. We want instant results! Thats why its so way to want to hold on the next quick fix diet and. Workout craze and lose those extra 10 lbs ... But we forget that it took time to get unhealthy, no one just gained 10 lbs over a week or two....it slowly crept on and to get rid of it for good will take time, struggle and patience! ..quick fixes don't last.. But if you set out to eat a healthy nutritious diet of whole food and less processed foods, and work some exercise into your lifestyle, get plenty of sleep, destress and speak kindly to & about yourself and if you stay consistent. You will reach your end goal and be able to sustain it!

Today's leg workout was intense and trying. My legs were shaking before I finished and I tried to convince myself to quit. Luckily my beautiful 7 year old was there and she cheered me on. Even counted down for me on my last round. Then clapped, hugged me and said "GREAT JOB MAMÁ, One day I'm going to be like you!" What an amazing reminder to ALWAYS keep in mind that as a parent YOU'RE BEING WATCHED. You..are someone's HERO. I LOVE HER.

Today was extremely humbling. .
I had to stop 3 times during my 35 minute workout.

As frustrating it is for me to sit out, stop, or pause my workout I know that listening to my body is a non-negotiable! .
No matter how defeating this was I know I have goals of gaining strength before surgery, so here's to never giving up!

I was reminiscing on basic training tonight so I decided to stream my favorite bootcamp workout. I was quickly reminded of my deep hate for burpees. While this smoke session didn’t last quite as long as the ones in basic did, it did work my body from head to toe. The phrase can’t smoke a rock came to mind. I was cussing the fitness instructor from the privacy of my own home instead of the drill sergeant. And my grimacing faces weren’t seen by anyone besides maybe my gamer husband! I’m getting in the best shape of my life in the comfort of my own home, 22 minutes and I’m dying. The good kind of dying, I’ll be nice and sore tomorrow!

I’ve said this a few times before but let’s clear it again, many people ask me if I really do these workouts or if they have helped in any way to my current physique considering I’m always training hard at the gym. The answer is yes!

And please also consider I have babes from every level following me and I like to be a useful source of information and motivation for everyone so this workout for an advanced beast will work as CARDIO and for a girl starting it will be a very complete and demanding workout by on its own!

For myself I add them twice or once a week as cardio work or simply just to enjoy the outdoors just because I love staying active! I do believe and practice what I preach I love the lifestyle I don’t need a reason to get active! That’s just who I am.

Here’s the routine:
⚠ Perform them as a circuit no rest between exercises then take 1min off repeat 5 times.
1⃣ 20 jumping squats to plié.
2⃣ 20Burpee to nose dive push up.
3⃣ 20 Glute bridge to toe touch’s (10 each leg)

I know... my mindset used to be all about what was easy. Honestly most things came to me easily, school, money, etc... but the journey and growth was in doing what was hard. That’s when we plateau, when we don’t do the hard shit.

The “Struggle" is relative. Most of us equate it to some insurmountable challenge that could never be conquered.
.
In other words you make the issue bigger than it truly is.
.
Cue mindset.
.
Don't complicate your shit...
.
I'm guilty of this as well, trying to do too many things at once and then falling short on all accounts.

The key is to focus on what you can control and succeed in those regards. Only then should you move forward to the next task.

Don't make your obstacles bigger than the reality.
.
Your reality is simply the truths we speak into existence based on what our minds create.
.
Don’t be confined by the limits of your mind. Break through the self limiting beliefs surrounding you’re story and success. Everything you want is on the other side of the walls you have built.

If anyone tells you it’s easy run! . Easy money Easy workout Easy class Easy woman . You don’t want easy. Easy is for average, complacent victims of ‘life’. . I know... my mindset used to be all about what was easy. Honestly most things came to me easily, school, money, etc... but the journey and growth was in doing what was hard. That’s when we plateau, when we don’t do the hard shit. . The “Struggle" is relative. Most of us equate it to some insurmountable challenge that could never be conquered. . In other words you make the issue bigger than it truly is. . Cue mindset. . Don't complicate your shit... . I'm guilty of this as well, trying to do too many things at once and then falling short on all accounts. . The key is to focus on what you can control and succeed in those regards. Only then should you move forward to the next task. . Don't make your obstacles bigger than the reality. . Your reality is simply the truths we speak into existence based on what our minds create. . Don’t be confined by the limits of your mind. Break through the self limiting beliefs surrounding you’re story and success. Everything you want is on the other side of the walls you have built. .
