Ok, yummmmm! Sweet potato hash ( I just did sweet potato with red bell pepper with a touch of salt and pepper, I feel like you don’t need much flavoring with those 2) - than I made a chicken “breast” out of ground chicken it was a first for me and I’m pretty impressed. I’ve been working on my nutrition these past few days. Your girl here fell off the healthy train and landed into ice cream/cookies/donuts/candy canyon, where she had a few too many treats then she’d like to admit 🙈 I’d come home from work and would be hungry and usually mentally drained so I turned to my favorite treats! Believe me, I started to feel it in my workouts and the decrease in energy! •

Wellll for the last 2 days I’ve changed up my routine. Coming home from work, I know eat one rice cake with, wait for it..., peanut butter! Now if you know me, you know I DON’T like peanut butter. I’ve never liked it. I’ve always questioned how literally everyone else loves it and how they handle eating it! So I’ve sucked it up, put the smallest amount onto my rice cake and enjoyed it! I still won’t ever voluntarily eat a spoonful but a tiny bit on my rice cake is okay 👌🏻

My favorite trips always involve hot sunny weather and the ocean!  I LOVE being by the water and hearing the crash of the ocean waves and the sand in my toes!  Nothing makes me feel more at peace and relaxed! 🌊 ⁣

Today we just registered for an all-exclusive trip back to this epic beach in Punta Cana...for the last 4 years I have been gifted a trip to the beach just for helping women get started on their health and fitness journeys!  This will be trip #5...it’s in March 2020...which actually is not that far away!  What makes this trip special is that a few coaches that I mentor are registering for this trip too...I can’t wait for us all to hang out together! 💗⁣

I’ve also got a trip to LA next month and a Caribbean cruise coming up in March...it’s crazy to think that we have 3 amazing trips coming up...trips that would not be happening if I hadn’t made the choice four and a half years ago to give this whole coaching thing a try!⁣

It’s pretty cool that I get to be a stay-at-home mama to my 3 kiddos and earn these vacays for me and Jake just for doing something that I love!⁣

Today was the first day since I’ve had my surgery that I was able to run a mile non stop 🙌🏼 it took me longer than normal (10 min) but I pushed through!! I also did 15 min on the stair stepper and 1 hour #bodypumpclass at Golds 💪🏼 I feel amazing 💃🏻 2019 I’m ready to crush all goals!!! #weightlossjourney #workingonmyself #motivated #toning #ketotransformation #ketolove #ketostrong #ketoweightloss

I wanted SO BADLY to be a Child Life Specialist.
I ALWAYS fell short.
"You're next in line if someone can't make the interview."
"You're next in line if someone doesn't accept our offer."
Over and over and over again. A girl will get discouraged!
I took a break when we got married, and then got pregnant.
My want to be a stay at home mom outweighed the want to be a Child Life Specialist.

Being a coach doesn't tell me no.
It doesn't really stress me out (everything does, though).
It doesn't tell me to try again later.
----
It says KEEP PUSHING. Don't give up. Don't STOP. 
I get to become a healthier Krista, while helping others do the same!

TRUTH BOMB: Where you are today is not where you’ll be 3, even 6 months from now — but the choice is yours. A year and a half ago I was coasting. Sporadically working out, comparing my body to others, and still emotionally recovering after a past relationship. I was stuck, so stressed out with work & moving/life that I actually got shingles! It was my wake up call. I stopped, cut some things out, found an amazing counselor and soon after, started virtual coaching and committing to my fitness once and for all. 😍

I had NO idea what I was getting into, but I can tell you I have grown SO much and already know I’m going to only continue moving forward. Chasing after big goals and putting in the work & prayer to achieve them. Because no matter where you’re at today, you CAN move past anything that’s holding you back from living the kind of life you were made to live. It won’t happen overnight, it will be hard, but it will be worth it. 💪

⏩⏩ to today: I’m planning my FIRST-ever coach retreat for my leaders who are believing bigger than themselves. Working out in the mornings (when I am NOT a morning workout person) and scheduling coach mentorship calls with my girls after work. Dinner, getting to know new friends on here because I KNOW there are more girls out there who need this. Who will thrive like crazy when they realize the potential of this kind of opportunity. 🤩

I am no different than you... I used to make excuses. I used to think I didn’t have time. I used to believe I wasn’t good enough. I used to be unhappy with the way I looked. I used to be afraid of what people thought. But, not anymore. I’m just a girl who saw what her life could look like and went after it. I started saying “Why not me?” instead of lying to myself and something so crazy started to happen. I started to realize that I DID have time. I WAS good enough. I LOVE the way my body looks. And I sure as hell am NOT afraid of what people think of me. And I have never been freaking happier.

Let's talk transformation.... I just want to be open and honest with you. My life has transformed in the last year. Physically, yes, my body has changed and is continuing to change. However, the real transformation has been within myself. I am on a journey to truly love myself, something I've never done. Through eating disorders, abuse, abandonment, I've created patterns that only caused me to dislike myself. I have worked so hard the last year to truly find who I am and become comfortable in my skin. I am exactly who God intended me to be and I refuse to degrade that person anymore. I am loving this journey and I am so thankful for those around me who have uplifted and cheered me on! To my husband, family, and team of amazing women.... THANK YOU.

Y’all!! I did it!!! I freaking did it!!! 😱😱💪🏻💪🏻😩😩 Goal weight achieved! I still can’t believe it. 🙈I had gotten complacent in where I was at, even though it was an unhappy place. Even when I did workout I would always say I’ll never get to that weight, I better set my goals a little lower 😞 But for whatever reason when I committed last summer to a weight loss program I 110% committed to something for the first time in my life. I completely changed my diet, routine, habits etc. I stayed on track through out summer, 4th of July, back to school, multiple trips out of town, soccer season, open enrollment at work, and even Christmas and New Years 😱 I don’t say this to brag but I put in a lot of hard work that  I’m damn proud of! And to be able to sit here and say I finally achieved a goal I didn’t think was achievable feels amazing 😁I’ve come so far already and am so excited to see where the rest of this journey takes me ❤️

As happy as I may look in that picture to the left, did you know there was never a time I felt more alone and isolated in my entire life?

I was only existing.  I was never fully living.  At that time in my life, I kept thinking to myself “This is it?” meaning this is my life?
.
I had no idea that my life was about to change and the person I was then would start this self-exploration of finding her worth....all because she wanted to drop weight.
.
Sadly, most people think weight loss is the answer to everything however if they don’t change their patterns of thinking, they remain stuck in old habits and old ways and then the victim mindset emerges blaming everyone for everything they never became in life.
.
If approached the right way, it CAN be the answer to everything like it has been for me.  It was the start I needed❤️
.
That pic on the right?? I am in control.  I am SO PROUD of fully taking control of not only my weight and the inches lost, but I found my life!! I found my true self!
.
This weight loss thing has created a ripple effect and it’s enabled me to create a better marriage, more meaningful relationships, and an overall better LIFE!  Off antidepressants and anxiety meds for over three years because I am forced to work on myself daily, when I used to be the one saying “I don’t need that,” (as if *I* was too good for it)
.
I’m surrounded by those that constantly push me to be and do better, and because of that I have been able to help lots of awesome women seeking the same in their lives...

Are you ready to see a new face when you look in the mirror? Sometimes we don’t realize just how far we’ve gone in the direction farthest from our goals. Then we take a picture from a couple weeks ago and compare it to one from a couple years ago and BAM 💥 you can see that you’re doing it. You’re on the right track, you’ve started down the path to getting your life back ~ emotionally, mentally and physically. Somewhere along the way you said Yes to making yourself a priority and working towards your goals and dreams. Here I am slowly settling into my new place and feeling proud of what I’m doing on my own. I haven’t gotten fully into my health swing but plan to next week. I have access to two free gyms between my work and new place so there are no excuses!! Just gotta get the food on track!! But for now here’s a #tenyearchallenge photo to keep myself inspired. Today has been a day 😅 BUT I have successfully woken up at 5am yesterday and today 🙌🏼 hoping to keep that up and also made it to the gym yesterday and today! Sometimes you’ve just got to change the way you think for me it was telling myself I am getting up at 5am no excuses, set in stone, had to let my mind know who’s boss 💪🏼 and hey, it worked so cheers 🥂

Hey! I’m Dani and I was on a journey with being healthy and had to take a break from my journey 😞 and here’s why I had to take a break!

Last October life got SUPER busy and I let my healthy routine go and I stopped taking care of myself and ended up with pneumonia 😤🤧

After recovering from being sick 😷 I was ready to get back to taking care of myself and then I tore my meniscus in my knee.
.
My body is forcing me to slow down 🤚🏻🛑

So now I’m listening 😄

I’m going to start taking better care of myself starting with refreshing my system for 3 days and get back on track with a healthy lifestyle .

Just over here enjoying the last of winter break. Spring semester starts next week along with more consistency in my diet and workoit regimen. Books are ordered, school supply shopping tomorrow, excited to cut back on my work amd nervous fpr A+P 1. Like. I might throw up nervous. 😂 Any tips on acing anatomy are very welcome! Once upon a time my fitness goals were to weigh 130lbs and wear a size 2 jeans.  I wanted to be skinny, NOT muscular, because muscles were too manly.  I thought eating healthy meant counting calories and meal deprivation as a means of “balancing out” my calorie intake.
.
First of all, I’m 5’9 so if I were to ever achieve those goals, my frame would probably collapse, and while I never hit 130 on the scale, I did hit 136- the lowest number I ever remember seeing on a scale.  Looking back, it’s terrifying.  I wasn’t healthy, I was obsessed with an unattainable and unhealthy vision of my ideal body.

I am so proud to say that today, I weigh 150lbs and am healthier, more toned and stronger than I have EVER been.  FITNESS IS SO MUCH MORE THAN PHYSICAL!
.
It took me breaking away from my normal routine and trying something NEW to break the cycle and rebuild a new mindset.  I did this by leaving the gym, working out at home, and being part of an online community of women who supported me EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Have you ever stepped out of your comfort zone and did something hard? Well I have to say I so have this week with this new program I’m doing.  It’s hard, it’s intense, motivating and challenging.  It’s also scary for me cause I’m a clumsy. I’m the person who can fall just standing still. 😂  This wonderful new program uses a step.  Today I was a very intense workout, I had to lower my step and hit pause to catch my breath.  I will conquer this program and I know it’s going to make me stronger inside and out.

2017 I spent all of the year making sure that others were okay and taken care of. Flew back and forth to build a relationship that in the end didn’t work. {don’t feel sorry for me} #lessonlearned

2018 I spent 95% of the year feel emotionally drained and sorry for myself {my fault}. In September, I told myself I needed to get out of that funk and slowly started to work on myself. {the comeback}.

I told myself that 2019 had to be different and that I was going to worry about myself. This sweatshirt popped up in my feed and I just KNEW I had to get it! It solidified my #resolution and #promise to myself. So here we are, #puttingmyselffirst for a change and slowly getting back to myself! 💞

I don’t know if it’s just in my head but I’m seriously starting to feel thinner. Now I know I’m not skinny and I know for sure I don’t have a flat tummy but I just feel smaller. I am excited to see more results, I feel like my body is finally starting to shape up to my dream body 😍💪🏽 And seriously want to thank @vannabelt for the amazing belts. People say waist training does not work but I know my results would not have been the same if I wouldn’t have been waist training. I mean you can tell how much curvier it makes you look. In my personal opinion waist training is the best. Don’t judge it until you try it!

My day 1 pics y’all...keeping it SUPER raw. On the real, I almost cried when I saw these. I have bags under my eyes from lack of sleep and stress. I had to change from my bikini top to my nursing bra because I felt like I was showing too much of my breasts. I have more cellulite than I EVER thought I’d have. My tummy, 5 months later, is just as squishy and loose as it was the day I came home from the hospital. I scroll through my Instagram and see all these mammas and their toned bellies and their AMAZING progress and I get a little green. But we’ve all got to start somewhere and this is where I’m starting. Watch out summer bod, I’m coming for ya 😜

Woo it's Wednesday!
Even though I'm a stay at home mum I am looking forwards to the weekend. I think my mum is watching my son Friday night which means I can have some quality one on one time with his dad.
Tomorrow is weigh in day which I'm keen to see how I went this week. Hopefully getting closer and closer to my first goal of 90kg!!

During a yoga break today, I was reflecting that we are halfway through the first month of 2019! Crazy, right? And... I am already feeling excited about what my team👯‍♀️ & I have accomplished this year!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It can be SO easy to underestimate what we can do in a day (or 15 days to be exact). But the truth is that a day, like today, has the potential to be the start of something completely magical. It could be a new focus on becoming your healthiest self, beginning to learn a new language, signing up for a race, quitting your job, saying yes, saying no,  starting that blog, starting a side hustle... the list of potentially life-changing decisions is endless.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, one of the best things I ever did was to love myself enough to acknowledge I was made for more and then to go for it.  It didn’t matter that my decision didn’t make sense to anyone else.  I knew that I needed a change in my life and I was finally brave enough to make it.

Likewise, this day can be the beginning of a new reality for you.  You just have to be willing to take the first step. You have to love 💗yourself to know that you deserve more, be brave enough to demand more, and then be disciplined enough to go out and work for it! The best piece of advice I can give if you’re ready to make a change this year is this...
Let go of what others are going to think! Do it for YOU. Forget the naysayers and the opinions of others. It’s about how you feel about yourself! Make yourself proud! 
Every time I post a workout in my stories or a transformation pic, a tiny piece of me thinks, someone’s just gonna roll their eyes at this... and then the rest of me chimes in and says just let em!!! So I’m just gonna keep plugging along and keep sharing but someone out there need it, just like I did 💙

I have kept my promise of eating healthy and I have been getting in my 10k steps on my Fitbit lately! Feeling pretty good! I stepped on a scale for the first time in a long while and... 🙊

But that is okay! That is why I am working hard! I plan on posting significant changes in weight once they occur. 
I have also looked into different workouts near me besides spin like hot yoga, kickboxing, gyms near me and personal training. I feel committed to change but I also have to remember to be patient with myself. 💓 🌸

Today I printed out @crazysexykris Thriver’s Manifesto. I don’t normally print out these types of things but this one is full of such positive tips and motivation that I had to put it up in my office so I can check it out when I’m stressed or having a not so great day. .
If you don’t know who Kris Carr is you should check her out. She’s an inspirational cancer thriver who is living life to the fullest with the disease. .
When I was first diagnosed with cancer almost 4 years ago I read her book Crazy Sexy Cancer and it really helped me maintain perspective and a positive outlook. .

To be honest, I still have days that I don't like to workout, but here's the thing... I DO  workout because of how it makes me feel. Not only physically, but mentally. •

Since working out consistently, I have experienced:
- more energy 🏃🏼‍♀️ - mental clarity - less stress
- a positivity only attitude 🤩
- a fun atmosphere for my family to enjoy workouts as well 👨‍👩‍👧

These are just a few of the things that I never knew I could feel just by working out consistently each day. With my new program, it's 20 minutes. There are NO excuses for me NOT to get my workout done. •

Truth bomb for you ... Working out is something I've almost always disliked. It's something I've always known I need to do, but I would so often just do it just because I felt like I had to.
