Getting things done EARLY today! Got up at 5am to get my steps in, currently sitting at 11,500 all before breakfast. I'm really proud that my body even at this size, can so so much. Excited to see what I can accomplish at a healthy weight!!

YES CIRCUIT SUNDAY IS HERE. Just because we are on holiday that does not mean we forget about the important things in life like circuit Sunday. Let’s make it quick though, I’m awaiting upon a post dinner and dessert fruit salad because health. 
The circuit:
3 rounds 
1 minute break between each
5 minute AMRAP 
1) 10 jumping lunges
2) 10 push ups 
3) 10 squat jumps 
It’s so simple but your quads will be a mess like my hands were after attempting to walk with gelato in 30 degree heat without spoonage for 0.5s. It is a circuit you can do anywhere! It takes 18 minutes. 18 minutes of sweat, smiles and squats. I hope you are all having a quality weekend filled with friends, food and french onion soup. Now go get sweaty! WHO IS READY FOR MONDAY?!?! 🧡

Training with the kettlebell is usually a strength endurance sport. If you want to move maximum weights, prefer to use a barbell, but that's another chapter. 🏋🏻‍♂️ It is a misconception that you can not 
have any strenuous training with "light" weights. Of course, it's more impressive for your Instagram post to lift the heavy bells for a 30 
second clip. 😎 But try to leave your comfort zone and try to maintain a 4-6rpm higher speed, in a longer set of 4-6 minutes, with a 4-6kg lighter 
kettlebell. The lighter weight training lets you do a lot more repetitions and gives you the opportunity to work on your technique. This will 
give you much better long term results because you are working on a good foundation. 💪 In addition, it is not as distressing to the nervous 
system and passive structures as heavy weight training, allowing you to regenerate faster and

Together we pushed a 100kg sled for 13 hours non stop raising over $10,000 for @gotcha4life back in February. ⁣

In May we tackled the 21km Spartan Beast in 4 hours which seriously tested the body in all forms. ⁣

On June 1st, we do something I actually lose sleep just thinking about (which is why the sick part of me wants to do it). ⁣

We’re going to run our first marathon to complete challenge no. 3 for the year. ⁣

Good workout with @jayhoon_jang today. In the past he was more focused on bodybuilding and was featured in @menshealth__korea once, but a lower back injury forced him to scale back on his lifting. Today we wanted to build up some resilience in his posterior chain with deadlifts at a lighter weight and higher volume

When working around an injury, rarely do we want to completely stop and rest. Some variables that we can adjust include:
1️⃣ amount of weight
2️⃣ number or reps
3️⃣ setup
4️⃣ technique
....
Take the deadlift for example, he could try sumo if conventional bothered his lower back.  Or he could try starting from some blocks if he wanted to decrease the distance of the pull. Or he could regress it to a kettlebell or trap bar version if he couldn’t tolerate the barbell.  Main point being there should be some form of exercise that can be tolerated when dealing with injury, just slowly build your confidence and capacity in your body from there

Happy Sunday!! ☀️🥰 Oh today went WAY too fast. My boyfriend and I both had the day off (never happens) so decided to go to the coast to do our long run. First 15k was fine, last 4K I could feel slight hip and knee pressure , but overall a successful 19km done 🙌🏼 (still can’t get over that I can run 19km, SO STOKED!). I literallly love running by the beach. So therapeutic 💆🏼‍♀️ Now time for fooood, stretches and sleep 😴 #marathontraining #marathonprep

This is where we begin.

I've started this as a way to document my progress, to get past the road blocks in my mind and be able to look back at how far I've come. 
My goals are: to make health a daily priority, to increase my energy, to be more comfortable in my body and most importantly set a good example for my children so they can lead healthy lives now and into the future.

Wrapping up first week of shredding with supercharging my metabolism. Chilling with round 2 of carb feed day (100g of carbs every 3 hours)

Started out the day with 125g of organic raisins, now chugging down a big bag of unseasoned corn snacks and a can of mango flavored #coconutwater by @puhdistamo
.
As I have been pounding the steel + caffeine and yohimbe all week (which makes my stomach turn funny) it’s nice to relax with heaps of carb calories and smooching on the couch.

✨ PROTEIN OATS RECIPE ✨
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
As you all know I’m a huge lover of protein oats/ porridge but I’ve always been bad at making it! If you’ve ever tried putting the protein in BEFORE you cook the oats you’ll know what I mean - it goes horrible (and usually explodes all over the microwave oops)! I’ve now refined my recipe and it’s too good not to share... Check out the macros too (swipe)! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Ingredients (swipe to see these!):
🌟Oats - I’m using @quakeroatsuk original protein porridge sachets (these are so good just on their own!). I love these because you always know how much you’re using too because I’m not great at estimating grams etc 😅
🌟190ml of milk - I’m using semi-skimmed but you could use any milk as a substitute. .
🌟 Protein Powder - I’m using @proteinworld Vanilla Slender Blend (aka the BEST protein in my opinion 🤩) - 4 scoops which is 40g and the amount you’d put in a protein shake! .
🌟Toppings - I had a lil bit of 0% fat Greek yogurt and a personal fave of mine, @whitworthsuk Toffee and Pecan shot (you have to try this on porridge the toffee melts and it’s AMAZING!) and a tiny bit of honey!••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Method (swipe for video!):
1️⃣ Mix the oats with milk as normal and pop them in the microwave (or cook on the hob!).
2️⃣ Mix protein powder with a VERY TINY bit of boiling water until it comes together into a thick gloopy paste.
3️⃣ Once the oats are cooked mix in the protein paste thoroughly - this will make the oats a bit more watery, if you like it like that then you’re done and free to top your porridge as you like! If you’re like me and prefer your oats a bit thicker then pop them back in the microwave for 10-30 seconds!
4️⃣ Now your all done, top your oats how you wish and ENJOY 🤩🤤

Throwin’ some 🎂 to ya this hump day...thank me later😈 First video is a leg press variation & I did a drop set starting with heavier weight for 15 reps, then dropped weight & hit another 15🔥 Second video shows weighted step-ups which are still a move I’m working on perfecting. These guys are no joke when you’re keeping constant tension on the glutes & definitely challenge the balance game💀 Save it for later!
