#TRXTUESDAY EXERCISE OF THE WEEK. TRX SIDE PLANK WITH HIP DROP + THREAD THE NEEDLE.
This is a great challenging exercise that combines 3 in 1. If you feel you've mastered a side plank on the ground, then give this a go. Start with just the side plank, then advance you the hip drop, then introduce all 3!
HOW TO: • Adjust straps to mid- calf length
• Place feet in the straps
• Stack your elbow your shoulder
• Brace your shoulder + core and lift your hips off the ground. • Lower your hips towards the ground (slight touch), then lift again. • At the top of the rep, keep your hips up as you pass your arm across your body (thread the needle).
• Reverse the movement. Repeat.
• Keep your core engaged + elbow stacked before your shoulder.
