INGREDIENTS
2 c. shredded Cheddar
Freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 white onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. Taco Seasoning
shredded lettuce, for serving
Chopped tomatoes, for serving
Hot sauce, for serving

DIRECTIONS  Preheat oven to 350F.  On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat place 1/4 cup piles of cheese 2 inches apart. Press the cheese down lightly so it makes one layer.  Place baking sheet in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes or until the edges of the cheese are brown.  Let the cheese cool for 2-3 minutes then lift it up and place it over the handle of a spoon or other utensil that is balanced on two cups.  Let cheese cool completely then remove.  While you continue to bake your cheese taco shells place the ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat cooking until it is completely cooked through.  Drain the grease from the meat and then add the cumin, chili powder, onion, powder, garlic powder, and salt. Pour water into skillet and stir everything around mixing it together.  Simmer for 5 minutes or until liquid has cooked away.  Add meat to taco shells and top with your favorite taco toppings. - -

When I first met her she was the girl on the left 6 and a half years ago - unhappy and unsure of what to do to help her change.

On the right is the woman I'm privileged to spend my life with - confident, strong and beautiful.

🔥 Here’s a sneak peak of our Cashew Asian Pork Tenderloin Stir-Fry.
🛑 You don’t have to use a ton of oil to stir-fry, we use 2 tbsp. of EVOO, and add in water as needed to cook 40 pounds of pork!
✅ Cut down your use of cooking oils by using a teaspoon to measure rather than pouring it straight out of the bottle.
✅ Add water to prevent food from sticking.
✅ Invest in good non-stick pans/skillets to use the least amount of oil possible and to prevent frustration and avoid a sticky mess!

Today's RECIPE: Chicken Caesar Salad Tacos by @thejoshelkin!!

INGREDIENTS
Taco Filling:  4 chicken tenders OR 1 skinless, boneless chicken breast cut into 4 strips  1/2 lb chopped bacon  2 cups chopped romaine lettuce  2 tbsp garlic powder

Taco Shells:  2 cups shredded parmesan cheese

Dressing  2 eggs yolks  3 cloves of garlic  2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce  1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese  2 tbsp lemon juice  1 tbsp anchovy paste  2 tbsp dijon mustard  1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions
Filling  Season the chicken strips (or sliced breast) with salt and pepper. Pan fry for 5 minutes each side. Set aside.  Fry the bacon in a pot until crispy. Degrease the bacon, and combine with the garlic powder.

Taco Shell  Add 1 cup of parmesan cheese to a medium high heat frying pan. Spread the cheese making sure it covers the entire pan. Fry until the cheese starts to crips and bubble. Take the cheese out and form in a taco holder.

Dressing  Combine the eggs, garlic, worcestershire, shredded parmesan, lemon juice, anchovy paste, dijon mustard and olive oil in a blender. Season with salt and pepper.

Assembly  Coat the romaine with the caesar dressing. Add the lettuce to the hardened parmesan cheese shell. Top the lettuce with the garlic bacon bits, chicken and extra dressing.

2 green onions, sliced

Cut avocado in half and remove pit. Lay avocado halves on their sides and carefully cut lengthwise into 2 thick slices each. Hollow out middles with a paring knife.
In a large, nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Place avocado slices into skillet and crack an egg into the center. Season with salt and pepper.
Cover skillet and cook until egg is cooked to your desired doneness, about 5 minutes for a just runny egg. Sprinkle cheese on top of each slice, cover with lid again and cook until the cheese is melted, a minute more.

DIRECTIONS
Place mozzarella and cream cheese in microwave safe bowl. Microwave 1 minute. Stir. Microwave 30 more seconds. Stir. Add almond flour, herbs and egg. Stir until well combined. Wet hands and spread dough thin on parchment paper. Shape into desired form. Poke holes with forks all over to prevent bubbles. Bake in preheated 425 degree F oven for 8 minutes. Add desired toppings. Bake 6 more minutes, or until slightly browned and golden.

Protein nut and seed bar by @realhandful I liked this. I’m really like the nutty variety of protein bars lately especially ones with salt in them. I don’t cook with salt nor do I add salt to meals in fact I don’t have salt in the house not because I’m anti salt just because I don’t use it but give me a nutty bar with salt in and 😍 think it’s the whole dark choc and sea salt it just works so well. 
I have my b12 injection this week and boy do I need it. On Friday I popped into Holland and Barrett to buy the b12 oral spray to try give me extra energy as I felt like I was dead on my feet and I was falling asleep all the time. I think it’s picked me up a little bit dramatically mind but a little.

You don’t need to eat boring tasteless foods, you just need to eat the healthy beneficial stuff - You can have that dirty snack but everything in moderation & make sure you earned it, it always tastes better when you know you’ve worked your ass off for it👌I love chopping up all my vegetables in the fridge and throwing them into a big pot and turning them into a feast and it keeps me so full I can’t go back for seconds. I make bulk so I can freeze the rest for later in the week. These are perfect I bought a pack of three in Asda for £1.50 thinking they would be ideal as a snack but they filled me like a meal. You get 8 cubes of cheese only small and then a mix of salt and peppered peanuts, pretzels and flat broad beans.

-------------------------------------- 2 years, 70 pounds less. I’ve changed more than just physically since this time but to be honest I’m really proud of myself. In 2016 I was 205 pounds and as of today I’ve lost 70. I think I my current weight(135)is pretty good for 5’ 10”. I’ve gone from size 15 jeans to size 2/4, I’ve worked so hard and now I can see it. 2 years later I’m so different in ways I never would have guessed. Thank you to everyone who supported me but more than that thanks to everyone who poked fun at me because without you guys I would have never made this change for myself. It was lost healthily and one of the most difficult things. I’m still not 100% confident but I feel so much better and I’m fine with slightly bragging about this. No matter what others say, only you can define your worth. So from a 1X to a small, from 2016 to 2018, and from my life then to my life now, if there’s one thing I learned is that hard work will eventually pay off. (Also the weird corset top thingy of the costume makes my waist look snatched) .

Before I give you the answer to the question of “How long can a person maintain true high intensity (approximately),” it helps to know why it even matters.

The details are super science-y, so I’ll give you a simple explanation.
🚶🏽‍♂️
Your body responds differently to different types of exercise. A short sprint uses energy differently than a long walk.
💪🏽
To get in shape, it’s best to train your body to get used to these different ways of using energy.
😮
The problem is, most “high intensity” interval workouts go so long, they don’t actually allow you to maintain true (100%) high intensity, and your body doesn’t get used to that type of activity (and therefore can’t improve at it).
⏱
To improve at high intensity activity — so you don’t get winded running to catch a bus, chasing a toddler, or hurrying up a flight of stairs — you need to exercise at about 10 second intervals or less.
🧠
That’s roughly how long true high intensity lasts.
🌬
Then take plenty of rest time in between each interval (I recommend around 50 seconds, or as much as several minutes). Enough to completely recover between efforts.

It’s not bad to exercise using longer intervals — it trains your body to use energy in another way — it just isn’t true high intensity.

Before I give you the answer to the question of “How long can a person maintain true high intensity (approximately),” it helps to know why it even matters. 🏿‍🔬 The details are super science-y, so I’ll give you a simple explanation. 🏽‍♂️ Your body responds differently to different types of exercise. A short sprint uses energy differently than a long walk. 🏽 To get in shape, it’s best to train your body to get used to these different ways of using energy. 😮 The problem is, most “high intensity” interval workouts go so long, they don’t actually allow you to maintain true (100%) high intensity, and your body doesn’t get used to that type of activity (and therefore can’t improve at it). ⏱ To improve at high intensity activity — so you don’t get winded running to catch a bus, chasing a toddler, or hurrying up a flight of stairs — you need to exercise at about 10 second intervals or less. 🧠 That’s roughly how long true high intensity lasts. 🌬 Then take plenty of rest time in between each interval (I recommend around 50 seconds, or as much as several minutes).
