EATING IN ABUNDANCE VS RESTRICTION :
it’s the biggest myth in the weight loss world that you must follow specific guidelines, macro splits, and caloric intakes in order to lose weight. “The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. They don’t alter their views to fit the facts. They alter the facts to fit their views.” The truth is that it’s completely possible to eat when you’re hungry without worrying about counting calories or restricting yourself from indulging. When you eat a whole food plant based diet, indulgence can be found in every meal
ABUNDANCE BOWL, i like to have one of these daily. They’re full of vital macro and more importantly micro nutrients that will keep you satisfied, healthy, and lean
•start with a green base: any leafy green will do. In this bowl, i used spinach
•add a starchy vegetable or grain: i usually use a sweet potato bc i am actually obsessed, but you could use rice, quinoa, regular potato, etc
•add a source of protein: my go to is usually chickpeas, but you could also use nuts, seeds, lentils, beans, etc.
•add a healthy fat source: avocado always the move, as well as nuts and seeds like hemp, chia, or pumpkin •add some more volume: i kept it simple with this bowl and added cucumber, tomato, carrots, bean sprouts, and a lil cilantro •dress it up: i like to dress my bowl with either a homemade dressing, lemon juice, or apple cider vinegar
