This photo was taken at 2am, right in the middle of the midnight sun in Iceland. This week marks the longest days of the year in Iceland where the sun does not completely set however creates a 'blue hour' for about 3 hours.
Skógafoss is a waterfall situated on the Skógá River in the south of Iceland at the cliffs of the former coastline. After the coastline had receded seaward the former sea cliffs remained, parallel to the coast over hundreds of kilometres, creating together with some mountains a clear border between the coastal lowlands and the Highlands of Iceland. - 1 hour ago
