Gravel was put in today. Jackson worked tirelessly against the clock to get it up our hill into all three tiers. Not to mention second guessing our choice on the fine gravel...
Irrigation is complete for now, sourcing all raised beds.
Dirt is in the beds.
Plants are planted. Need to plant a bit more.
Friend on speed dial has been called numerous times for gardening advice. @angela.rootsreachingdeep
We broke our backs today working hard while doubting, running to the potty, cleaning up accidents, chasing shovels from puppy, changing diapers, rushing to eat, wiping tears, laundry, putting baby down for naps, loading dishes, watching when our girls pleaded “mommy, daddy watch this!” And finally, near the end of the day, smiling at the girls as they ran through a ‘sprinkler (a leak in the hose), had dust baths, and sprayed each other down with cold water.
The girls loved a few rides on the tractor. Despite their hot flashes and hunger strikes they did awesome today. They helped (Amelia meticulously weeded a section of the path going down to the second tier😮), played, got dirty and had fun. That’s the goal of family gardening right?
