Liguria, Italy 🇮🇹
European trip day 5-8✨ We rented a car for a few days to explore the Ligurian cost (which you could also do by train / buss / boat)! Three nights spent in the mountains of Arcola, not too far from Cinque Terre national park. I’ve been running in the mountains early mornings, and every day we’ve explored new places, new beaches and new views. Plus eaten great food! Had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. And oh, the views in Liguria are just MARVELOUS!

🌿Things to do:
✨Hike between the villages along the coast. The villages in Cinque Terre + Portofino might be the most popular ones but I think there are quite a few others which are just as wonderful - and not as touristy. We liked Lerici, Santa Margherita Ligure, Paraggi, Portovenere and Palamaria.
✨Hang out at the beaches, explore a new one (we looked for hidden ones) every day!
✨Spend some time at the markets, almost every village has its own - most of them daily - and get some super fresh Italian veggies and fruits! The market in La Spezia is great!
🌿Places to eat:
@kicksristorantepizzeria (AWESOME VEGAN PIZZA) in Santa Margherita ligure. Vegan gelato at “Cono o Coppetta” in Lerici, SO GOOD! Then we got quite a lot of food from the markets and cooked lunches + a few dinners ourselves since we had an amazing apartment with a beautiful view for dinners! ⠀⠀
🌿Places to stay:
We found the most adorable place up in the mountains of Arcola, close to La Spezia, via @airbnb. Requires you to have a car but would absolutely recommend it!! Good spot for exploring the Ligurian coast by car!
✨ Another idea when in the area is to stay a few nights at an Agriturismo - 8 minutes ago
