Core workout 🏋🏾‍♂️ Pretty much the only 2 exercises I switch between when it comes to working on my core. n majority of core works done during compounds lifts like standing OHP, deadlifts, squats. This is just extra volume👊🏾.

Omega 3’s are a  polyunsaturated fatty acid, or “good fat”. They are important for our health. While Omega 3 is commonly sourced from fish and seafood we can also obtain omega 3’s from the above plant sources.⁠

Fish and seafood provide forms of omega 3 known as EPA and DHA. Plant sources contain an omega 3 known as ALA, which our body can convert into DHA and EPA. While EPA and DHA levels are lower in vegetarians they do not seem to experience signs of omega 3 deficiency. And the clinical significance of these levels is unknown.⁠

But it is important to consume a higher amount of plant sources of Omega 3 (ALA) if you are not consuming EPA and DHA by including some seeds into a smoothie or just added to any dish. Using ground chia and flax can improve the digestibility of ALA, you can grind them yourself in a blender or buy them pre-ground.⁠

In some people, there may be a higher need for DHA and EPA, such as in pregnant and lactating women and people with reduced conversion ability like the elderly or people with chronic disease (e.g. diabetes).⁠

Lately I've been playing around with the flavours for some of my favourite dishes including creating this new nut-free taco mince, served with a salad.
You'll have to trust me with the addition of strawberries as it worked perfectly in this dish. 🙌

To make the nut-free taco mince recipe blitz these ingredients.
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 carrot
5 sundried tomatoes
1 tbsp taco seasoning
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 small chili
1 clove garlic
Juice from one lemon

I had my first authentic diner experience yesterday at @lostlakecafe - open 24 hours a day and serving a huge range of diner faves!
Super impressed to see how many vegan options they had - I went for a vegan hash with added veggie sausage and it was so good! The sausage in particular was amazing. I hadn’t really eaten all day so it was exactly what I needed! Would be great to visit Lost Lakes again before I leave!

I was invited on @therobertoperrone drivetime show on @bbc3cr to discuss if parents who choose to raise their children on a #vegandiet should see the GP. 
I believe with the right planning and knowledge, a child can get everything they need following a vegan diet. The biggest concern with vegan diets in early childhood is nutritional inadequacy. Parents therefore need to be very well informed, otherwise there's a risk of vitamin D, calcium, iron, omega-3 fatty acids and possibly vitamin B12 deficiency. 
Parents need to get guidance from their health care professional and experiment with their child! 😊
