I do enjoy Chipotle as an option when eating out, so I was glad when my coworker selected it for her birthday lunch! 🥳
Generally, I bring my own lunch & save treat meals for the evenings or weekends with my family 🤗
But, with Chipotle, you can select some great options that can easily fit into your meal plan 🏼
Since I’m not in competition prep, it’s easy to fit Chipotle. & I still plan to enjoy a couple meals out this week even with my Chipotle lunch!
If your on a more strict plan, you really can’t track what your getting from restaurants because you don’t know exactly how the food was prepared. You also don’t know exact portions unless you get everything on the side & tote your good scale with ya! .
A couple tips @chipotle : 2x protein! The regular serving is generally just not enough. Pretty much all of my clients are not getting enough protein. 🌯 ditch the burritos
ditch the chips or limit it to only a couple
🥗 add extra lettuce to your meal or choose the salad bowl
🧀 go light on the cheese .
Remember tho, treat meals are important for your metabolism! & Chipotle is a better option than a lot of other places. Definitely choose it if your in a pinch or just want a tasty meal where you don’t have to cook!!

With my fitness journey I used to strive for “skinny” and “toned”.
That goal has changed drastically.
I hit my lowest adult weight last summer and felt lean AF but feeling strong and my lifts being better shifted my goals.
Now I’m not powerlifting anytime soon and I still need help opening a salsa jar on occasion
But I am proud to say I am strong and don’t fear “getting bulky” to maintain a girly frame cause that’s just not me. To each their own. 🏼

Kinda Back... After 5 days of no workouts, I decided to get back to it. Even though I still have some discomfort in my back, I decided to take it as easy as I had to and see how it went.
And I learned that I’m definitely not back at 100%. Not able to go all out on my workouts like I could - not yet.
And even though I know it’s ok, it still frustrates me.
I HATE that I can’t go hard - go all out like I’m used to. It bothers the 🤬out of me. But I’m hard on myself. And at the end of the day, I have to realize it’s temporary.
So I do what I can. Modify where needed. And still get a workout in.

Today I missed motivation and I came up with soooo many different excuses.. But I kicked my own butt and I went to the gym..
And once there- I was on a roll!! I worked on my deadlifts and back squats; and did a bit of rowing and incline walking to close the workout..
And to pay for it I just finished working and it’s almost 11pm here
