If you want to improve your “mobility” and movements in general, check this video out.
This is a small segment from a day long seminar I run titled #UnlockingRotationalPower . I’ve hosted this seminar series for private facilities, professional sports organizations, and other professionals (ATs, LMTs, PTs). What you see here is an assessment in the initial onset, in which we are looking to see how @coach_dill_ ’s movement of his thoracic spine, vertebrae, and ribs allow for rotation in a prone (laying down) position.
There was indication of previous injury (several years ago) in left shoulder joint, so for him it was tough to achieve full rotation equal to his right in standing, let alone in a prone position.
So, we aim to see where some of his motion goes awry, and we notice a deviation in left to right motion (frontal plane) while asking him to rotate towards to the left (transverse plane)
After providing some inputs in different positions (kneeling), we began observing greater changes when he moves into rotation as a cause of the different muscular sensations and feelings from our kneeling activity.
So, change how you “feel” in order to change how you move.
