Just thought I would put a couple more easy photo tips up that you can try if you are taking insta photos at home or on the go.
1. Watch your backgroundno one wants to see all the stuff in the background, they want to know what the focus of your photo is. Background clutter is distracting (even on the photo I used the blue post note in the left corner drives me nuts)
2. Watch your angles, try getting on the same level as your subject and focusing in on it. This will blur out the background clutter and really highlight the subject. The further your subject is from the background the more blurred the background will appear.
3. Light. Light is really important, natural light is fine, but make sure it is a decent sized window and the sun isn’t shining straight onto the bottle or you’ll get nasty reflections and bright spots. I find in front of or to the side of my subject works the best. If the light is behind, it gives you a silouhette which is really cool for a couple shoot at sunset but not so much for showing of product In my highlights I talked about filling in shadows with a piece of white card, which gives you a cleaner brighter look.
I hope these tips are helpful, feel free to comment below or message me if you have any questions. I will also add the post to my photography tips highlight. #tips and tricks #oilyphotos #productphotos #phoneshots #shouldhavemovedthepostitnote - 1 hour ago
