Last Friday was Pink Shirt Day (anti-bullying day), and as a boring person who wears black or grey 99% of the time (my pink days were over after primary school) & I rarely dress up, I thought I would put a lil detail to not be a party-pooper teacher.
Simple yet pinkalicious enough, I managed to pick up this $2 scarf from the thrift store!
Made in Japan, cotton & silk - there are many ways this can be reused too. Actually picked up a pink top/dress and a flower lei, but asked myself when would I ever need such pinky things again? I have already got a whole outfit in green (because my team colour is green) for dress ups all either thrifted and swapped with other teachers when we switched teams. Cheap & free! 😎
Dress up items are really cheap at the dollar stores, but because I could, I was able to find away around it. Thrift shops seriously have every colour, making it so easy for dress up days - if your heart desires!
