Some people use exercise as an outlet for their busy lives. I, on the other hand, use workouts to help me with decisions I’ve been wrestling with in my mind. I prefer to workout alone. I don’t have difficulty pushing myself in the gym because it’s a privilege for me to be able to move my limbs, especially with the back problems I still have every single day.
That leaves me the opportunity to fall in line with the rhythm, the tempo, the breath...they always falls in sync...enabling me to work through how I am going to approach certain decisions; how I am going to work through difficult conversations; or to remind of things to add to my to-do list.
