This is spicy oven roasted bitter melon. 
This picture did not do this justice. 
This is a vegetable I avoided growing up.  But I’m really into roasting vegetables so I thought I’ll give this a try. 
Bitter melon is an excellent source of vitamins B1, B2, B3, and C. It also has rich iron and calcium content. Full of high dietary fiber, magnesium, folate, phosphorus, zinc, and manganese. It is an excellent source if anti oxidants, can reduce blood sugar and cholesterol. So in other words- a #superfood! This recipe is a great way to get all nutrients with out the bitter taste, by taking out the seeds 
#recipe: Take 2-3 bitter melons. Slice them into thin circles. Take the seeds out. Mix slices with a teaspoon of turmeric, chili powder and marinate for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375. Squeeze the extra moisture and lay them on an oiled sheet pan. Bake for about 7-10 mins turning them as needed. It’s done when it’s crispy, not burnt. Toss with salt and squeeze of lemon. Enjoy! 
This is a versatile recipe so feel free play around with the spices as you like. 
#myescalatip - these are a great substitute for chips or crackers. Put them in sandwiches for extra flavor and crunch. Or toss with on top of a salad instead of croutons. You can even #juice it, but it will be a bit sour.

TACO STUFFED PEPPERS

A healthier option for your next Taco Night: Paleo friendly Taco Stuffed Peppers | Gluten Free + Low Carb
.
INGREDIENTS:
.
* 4-5 large bell peppers
.
TACO MEAT:
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 pound ground lean beef
* 1/2 medium white onion chopped, about 1 cup
* 2 cloves garlic crushed or minced
* 1 tablespoon chilli powder
* 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1/2 teaspoon paprika
* 1 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 14 oz can crushed or chopped tomatoes

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 400°/200°C.
2. Slice the peppers in half lengthwise and remove ribs and seeds. Place pepper halves on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes on the middle rack.
3. Remove peppers from oven. Peppers have a high water content so if you find that there is a little water on sitting inside the peppers after you remove them from the oven, just drain the water and blot the insides with a paper towel.

TACO MEAT
1. Warm the olive oil in a large skillet on a medium high heat. Once the oil is warm add the ground meat and begin breaking up the meat into smaller pieces to cook faster.
2. Once the meat is no longer pink add the onions chilli, and garlic. Mix into the beef mince.
3. Add the remaining taco seasonings: oregano, paprika, cumin and salt. Stir well to mix the spices and vegetables together. Stir in the crushed tomatoes.
5. Turn off the heat and fill each pepper half with ¼ cup taco meat. Top each pepper with dairy free cheese (optional). Bake in the middle of your oven for 15 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and let cool 5-10 minutes before serving. 
7. Top with avocado, guacamole and additional cilantro as needed. (Optional)

Bargain! My husband presented me with a £10 voucher for iceland today and told me to try find something for tea. Bosh! That’s tea sorted for a few more days! I might make some of these into curry or cook and box some little meals up for meal prep. I think 2kg of boned chicken for £8 is damn good deal!

When it comes to nutrient profile oil is same as sugar,  just fat and no other nutrient (empty calories). You should be very mindful of picking your fat sources. You have ton other sources of fats which are way healthier than direct oil consumption.

TORTA AL COCCO E RICOTTA
RICETTA

2 Uova
aroma alla vaniglia
aroma al cocco #prozisitalia
100 g Farina Di Cocco
250 g Ricotta 
200 g Farina farro
Mezza Bustina Di Lievito Per Dolci

PROCEDIMENTO
All’interno di una ciotola capiente versare la Ricotta, le Uova e gli aromi . Mescolare gli ingredienti con un cucchiaio da cucina fino ad ottenere un composto omogeneo.
Aggiungere la Farina di Cocco, continuare a mescolare per qualche attimo.
Aggiungere infine la Farina di farro ed il Lievito per Dolci.
Versare metà Composto all’interno della tortiera e livellarlo utilizzando il dorso del cucchiaio.
aggiungere gocce di cioccolato fondente.e poi il restante composto al quale aggiungiamo cacao amaro e.latte se serve.
Infornare la Torta a 180°C per circa 40 minuti, al termine fare la prova stecchino.

100g Butter - melted 
50g Cacao Powder 
1/2 tsp vanilla essence 
2 eggs
100g Hemp Powder 
1/2 tsp baking powder

Mix all the ingredients together in the order listed above. Bake in a greased baking tray at 180C (Gas 4) for 20-25 mins.

A myth that still exists is that strength training leads to decreasing flexibility. 
An interesting study found the opposite and compared different groups doing no training, 1 set exercising, 3 sets of exercise and 5 sets of exercise. It was looked for any changes in joint flexibility in shoulder, elbow, hip and knee joint.

The results indicate especially in 3 and 5 sets group that flexibility was improved after intervention (although not in all joints). Especially shoulder, elbow and hamstring (sit and reach test) was significantly improved when compared to no training and 1 set exercising groups. 
Thus states against the myth, that strength training does not decrease joint flexibility (when trained in full range of motion style). Just think of a deep squat exercise. High mobility and flexibility in knee hip and foot joint is required. If you profess to increase range of motion, mobility and flexibility must be high in participant. 
That does not mean you should not include stretching or Mobility exercises in your routine.

Mine would be my blender!! Half the time I bring mine with me when I travel because even when you ask if you Airbnb has a blender 90% of the time it’s a teeny tiny no power one that I’ll like destroy! Haha!

Recette pour 10 MUFFINS :
> 200g de Farine de Blé de Type 45,
> 150g de Lait de Noisettes,
> 30g de Compotes de Pommes.
> 50g de Purée de Noisettes, ici de chez @jeanherve_jeanherve .
> 15g d’Huile de Coco,
> 30g de sirop de Fleurs de Coco.
> 3 Œufs,
> 1/2 sachet de Levure Chimique,
> 1 pincée de Sel,
> 100g de Chocolat Fondu,
> 50g de Morceaux de Chocolat.
> 30g d’Éclats de Pralins,
Toppings : quelques Morceaux de Chocolat et des Éclats de Pralin.
1/ Dans un saladier, Mélanger les Œufs, le Lait, le Sirop de Coco, l’Huile de coco, la Compote de Pommes, la Purée de Noisettes et le Chocolat Fondu.
2/ Dans un autre saladier, Mélanger la Farine, le Sel, la Levure Chimique, les Pépites de Chocolat et les Éclats de Pralin.
3/ Verser ensuite les ingrédients liquides dans le saladier des ingrédients secs et Remuer quelques fois. Il y aura des Grumeaux c’est Normal, ils vont donner le côté Moelleux aux Muffins. Ajouter ensuite quelques Éclats de Pralin et des morceaux de Chocolat en Toppings.
4/ Enfourner à 180 degrés pendant environ 15-20 minutes. La cuisson dépendra de votre Four.

Recette :.
> 100g de Farine de Blé de Type T45,
> 50g de Fécule de maïs de Type Maïzena,
> 1 Compote de Pommes SSA soit 100g,
> 1/2 sachet de Levure Chimique,
> 200g de Chocolat Noir,
> 30g de Sucre Complet,
> 4 Œufs.
1/ Faire Fondre le Chocolat au Bain Marie,
2/ Pendant ce temps, Mélanger dans un saladier les Œufs et le Sucre puis la compote de pommes, la Farine, la Fécule de Maïs et la Levure Chimique. Bien Mélanger.
3/ Ajouter le chocolat fondu et Mélanger jusqu’à l’obtention d’une pâte homogène,
4/ Verser la préparation dans un moule recouvert au préalable de papier sulfurisé.
5/ Enfourner à 180 degrés pendant 15-20 minutes, tout dépend de la puissance de votre four.

M o e l l e u x au C h o c o l a t Recette :. > 100g de Farine de Blé de Type T45, > 50g de Fécule de maïs de Type Maïzena, > 1 Compote de Pommes SSA soit 100g, > 1/2 sachet de Levure Chimique, > 200g de Chocolat Noir, > 30g de Sucre Complet, > 4 Œufs. 1/ Faire Fondre le Chocolat au Bain Marie, 2/ Pendant ce temps, Mélanger dans un saladier les Œufs et le Sucre puis la compote de pommes, la Farine, la Fécule de Maïs et la Levure Chimique. Bien Mélanger. 3/ Ajouter le chocolat fondu et Mélanger jusqu’à l’obtention d’une pâte homogène, 4/ Verser la préparation dans un moule recouvert au préalable de papier sulfurisé. 5/ Enfourner à 180 degrés pendant 15-20 minutes, tout dépend de la puissance de votre four. > 1 Banane,
> 4cl de Lait Végétal, ici du Lait d’Amandes de chez @alpro .
> 1 cuillère à soupe de Beurre de Cacahuète, ici de chez @foodspring_fr .
> 1 cuillère à soupe de Cacao non sucré, ici de chez @bonneterre_officiel .
> Toppings : 1/2 Banane, Muesli ou Granola, Graines de Chia et Beurre de Cacahuète.

A m a n d e s
Recette pour 6 cookies :.
> 100g de Farine de Blé de Type 45,
> 50g de Poudre d’Amandes,
> 5cl d’Huile de Coco.
> 1 cuillère à café de Levure Chimique (optionnel),
> 1 pincée de Sel,
> 1 Œuf,
> 30g de Sirop de Fleur de Coco,
> 60-100g de Pépites de Chocolat, ici j’ai utilisé 100g pour des Cookies Très Très Gourmand.
> 30g d’Amandes Concassées.
1/ Dans un saladier, Faire Fondre l'Huile de Coco puis Ajouter l’œuf et le Sirop de Coco.
2/ Après avoir Bien Mélanger, Ajouter la Farine, la Poudre de d’Amandes, la Levure Chimique et le Sel. 
3/ Mélanger de nouveau, puis Ajouter les Amandes concassées et les Pépites de Chocolat.
4/ Pétrir la pâte à la main puis former des cookies. Déposer les sur une feuille de cuisson.
5/ Enfourner à 180 degrés pendant 15 minutes environ. La cuisson dépendra de votre Four.
