💪 Exercises for shoulder instability: Part I💪

🙌: People with shoulder instability can have pain/weakness with repetitive activities like throwing, swimming and etc. Also, people present with pain/weakness with overhead activities, decrease strength to the rotator cuff and periscapular muscular. In these patients it is key to progressively strengthen and load them in those positions.

Deadlift Platform now in full effect! 💪🏻

This will allow us to incorporate more power-focused Deadlifting by eliminating eccentric (downward) load.. basically allows us to drop some weight without risking injury to the concrete or plates!👌🏻

Been planning on this addition for a few months! All for under $30 and a few hours of labor! Can’t beat that. And it felt great to be in “build mode” again. I’m hoping to add band attachments in the near future 💀

“Eat 300 calories less a day and you’ll lose weight” true BUT... “why Keto/vegan/[insert diet name here] works? They all put you in a deficit.” True BUT...⠀

If you want to lose fat and increase lean muscle mass AKA “get toned” there’s a bit more to it⠀

Weight loss is as simple as calories in vs calories out- you could literally eat 1,300 calories of twinkies and if that puts you in a deficit you’ll lose weight. You’ll probably love a lot of muscle mass but the scales dropping so it’s all good ❌⠀
⠀
Burning 1,000 calories on the treadmill can also put you in a deficit (or you might eat most of it back because of ALL the cardio you did) but if all you do is cardio there won’t be much muscle gain—> not toned but “skinny fat” ❌ ps I was there before!⠀
⠀
Weight lifting will increase lean muscle mass—> toned and strong 💪🏻✅ ⠀
⠀
Lean muscle burns more at rest than fat mass ✅⠀
⠀
You continue to burn more 24-48 hours post weights ✅but with cardio calorie burn typically stops when you do ❌⠀

Work out off the day with @sanad_91 running and upper body:
Warm up:
1000m moderate run then 5 x 200m. Each sprint in less then 40sek.60sek rest between sprints.

Main:
Bench Press:
Work your way up to your max 1 x 3 reps.
Then with 80% of that weight you will do 3 x 5-8 reps.
Then
1 x max reps with 40kg bench press. Your goal is 20+. Your only rest allowed during these max reps is by holding the bar not to put it back to the rack. He got 31 reps👊

Superset 1:
Single Arm Row 4 x 8 on each arm and after each set 12 lateral raises with dumbells

Superset 2:
Seated shoulder press 4 x 8  reps and after each sett 8 dumbell bicep curls.

Finisher x 2 rounds at max effort but quality reps:
10 Man Makers with 10-12kgs
15 Kcal Row in less then 60sek
20 Med ball Situps throws 6-9kg
25steps KB swing Walk
30 Bent Over Ball Slams 6-9kg Med Ball 
Cool down is 5min bike(anyhow) + mobility/stretching.
