Here’s my predicted team for tomorrow’s match against Man United at Old Trafford, in a huge Manchester Derby in the Premier League:
🇧🇪4. Vincent Kompany ~ His leadership is needed in a game like this.
14. Aymeric Laporte ~ He’s player almost every match lately and needs a rest but I still think he’ll play.
🏴2. Kyle Walker 🇺🇦35. Oleksandr Zinchenko ~ Mendy hasn’t trained ahead of this one again.
8. Ilkay Gundogan
21. David Silva ~ de Bruyne is unfortunately missing this one and maybe the rest of the season.
🇵🇹20. Bernardo Silva ~ I’d rather play Sanè on the wing with Bernardo in midfield but Pep doesn’t seem to want to do that at the moment.
🏴7. Raheem Sterling 🇦🇷10. Sergio Aguero
🇽🇰49. Aro Muric
🏴5. John Stones
🏴47. Phil Foden
🇩🇿26. Riyad Mahrez
19. Leroy Sanè
🇧🇷33. Gabriel Jesus
Despite United’s poor form, it’s still undoubtedly going to be really tough. On paper, their side isn’t that bad and form goes out the window on derby day, it’s who wants it more that usually wins. However, I think if we play our best, which we need to, we’ll win, which we also need to in order to keep our title chase alive. However, they’re playing for Europe at the moment and need to start picking up points if they want to finish in the top 4. Sorry this one’s a little late, I’ve been out all day. I watched ‘the Keeper’, the film about the incredible story of ex-City stopper, Bert Trautmann. It was an amazing film and I’d 100% recommend it to anyone, you don’t even have to be a football fan. What a hero, true inspiration. 🦈
