I put this list together some months ago for a friend, so I thought to also share here incase anyone else finds it useful. Maybe you're expecting a baby or know someone who is and you're looking for a gift guide. ⚪NURSING PILLOW: this made breastfeeding super easy for me the first few months. It also helped Kiks sit up before she could actually sit on her own.
⚪BREAST PUMP, FEEDING BOTTLES, BOTTLE BRUSH, BOTTLE STERILIZER & MILK STORAGE BAGS/CONTAINERS: hardly used these though because I was always available to breastfeed my baby.
⚪BIBS & MUSLIN CLOTHS: makes feeding and burping less messy. For babies with reflux, these can make life abit more bearable.
⚪ONESIES & SLEEP SUITS: I don't believe one can have too many of these. The crotch pin buttons make changing diapers easy, and those with shoulder flaps especially make changing after blowouts less messy. ⚪PORTABLE CRIB: having this meant I didn't always have to hold the baby especially when she's sleeping and I could keep an eye on her while in the sitting room. ⚪SOCKS & LEGGINGS: these were all Kiks wore on her feet the first three or four months, because I didn't see the point in buying shoes that are so expensive and quickly outgrown.
⚪BABY BLANKETS/FLANNELS: easy with the wrapping though, even though she was a winter baby, Kiks' doctor advised me not to make her unnecessrily warm.
⚪BABY NAIL SCISSORS & MITTENS: for ones so little, babies' nails are so sharp! These help to prevent scratching.
⚪BABY COTTON BUDS: they're great for cleaning baby's outer ears and nose.
⚪CHANGING MAT: with this, you can change baby's diaper on any flat surface without fear of stains.
⚪DIAPER CREAM: I used Sudocrem. It's been nine months and I'm proud to say Kiks has never had diaper rash. ⚪ZIPLOC BAGS: since I started having these in my diaper bag, changing and disposing of poop diaper when we're outside has become less stressful.
⚪DIAPER BAG: for holding extra clothes, diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials you can't leave home without. (Continued in comments...) - 10 minutes ago
