Deadlifts today, I hit 455lbs for a solid single, which is good considering I wasnt able to do it last week, my deadlift is getting back to where it was slowly but surely! And this time all my deadlifts will be hitch free cause I dont want to get red lighted at my meet in December! After the 455lbs//206kg deadlift I did a 2x3 with 405lbs//184kg, they felt good and easy up until my third set which felt hard so I only did for a double 朮. My deadlift will only go back up from here next deadlift session Im hitting 465lbs//211kg for an easy light rep cause its #Primetime

Listening to my body right now and not working out has hard as i used to, which is totally fine considering that the past few weeks I've been pushing myself really hard. We can't always give 100% every single day of the year. Sometimes you need to lay back and just look at what you are doing and ask yourself if it's beneficial for you to push yourself that hard and is it healthy?

Dont usually hit PRs during morning lifts and this is the first PR of the summer Ive gotten after wenning warm ups, 455x3 from a deficit. Didnt lock in as well as I shouldve form wise and the bar rolled away from me on the last rep, but I was tired and groggy so Ill take it. After that hits 5s on squats with a top set of 315.

Look at what most of my first Pt sessions go down like.
1/learn some cues and main things we need to remember when executing the lift.
2/practise with super light weight until form is safe and looking legit.
3/start loading some weight on the bar until we can see the form break down, so now we know what we need to work on.
4/reduce weight and work on how and why we had form breakdown. #fixit 
Turns out @hunting69_ is pretty on point for his first deadlift session and we work all the way up to 110kgs for 3! Pretty impressive for a 16yr old kid. World records to come!!!!!

Yesterday's squats and accessories session was interesting for several reasons. First, I slept poorly the night before due to an iffy stomach which persisted into my sesh. Second, the sesh itself did not go too badly despite the stomach iffy-ness. Third, this will likely be my final "squat" session, as next week I will be changing my program to a more strongman-centric one. Fourth, I added a couple next exercises; these I did not film but will likely film next week.

I. Squats, 3 x 3 at 220kg (485lbs), 5 kg heavier than last week.
II. Banded rack pulls, 2 sets of 3 at RPE 8~8.5.
III. Banded spider bar box squats, 3 x 2 at RPE 8ish. 
IV. Not recorded: Yoke walks for speed, 212kg (467lbs) x 3 sets of 30 meters.
V. Not recorded: Yoke pulls and pushbacks, various weights (to test). Vids. 1~3: 220kg (485lbs), 3 x 3.
Vid. 4: Banded rack pulls, red and orange bands plus feet elevated about 2 inches (5ish cm)* for added band tension at lockout, stiff bar at just below kneecaps, triple at 365lbs (165kg), final warm-up.
Vids. 5~6: Same setup, 405lbs (183kg), 2 x 3.
Vids. 7~9: Banded (orange bands) spider bar box squats, 3 doubles at 131kg + band tension, trying to be at least somewhat explosive. *Why elevate feet on rack pulls? Greater band tension at the top.

Initiate the movement by pulling your elbows back rather than pulling the bar up. Πqueeze those shoulder blades together and then control the bar down back to the starting position 

Unpopular opinion - you dont need to be super low to the ground when performing bent over rows

Today I did some chest press on an iso-lat machine. I figured the video would be boring, so I filmed my presses instead. Really, all lifting videos are probably equally boring 仄儭 I did a benchmark set of 8x25@8, then 3x8@22.5@6 for volume.

#squats today. A nice easy 3x7@100. It's crazy how fast the lighter weights move after you're used to heavier. 

One more day of the lighter stuff, then back to the hard work next week. 

Also, thanks for the lunges @adamrenallcoaching. They confused the hell out of my body. I'm a little sore in strange places now.

Po powrocie postanowiem powt籀rzy pierwszy tydzie planu. Korcio mnie, 髒eby napisa nowy, ale po co? Ten jest do przyjemny (umieram tylko 2x w tygodniu) i zrobiem go jakie 1.2 raza.

Skoro si sprawdzi wczeniej, to nie ma powodu pisa nowego. Tym razem nie wyje髒d髒am nigdzie przez najbli髒sze 3-4 tygodnie, wic akurat.

First day back training after a week and a half off. I missed it so much, lifting heavy things really is my happy place.

All the lols on my first vid, I really wasn't expecting it to go up as fast as it did and I almost paid the price.  Next sets went far better and I'm thrilled to still be training  at 36 weeks pregnant. -
Still have real messed up vision thanks to this shitty MS relapse and the steroids are really doing a number on fluid retention and giving me the puffiest, fatest face which I hate so much.  Just want my vision back so I can see my amazing little girl.

Deadlifts went well despite yesterdays poor performance. 495@8/8.5 on the top deadlift single followed by 430x5x3@6.5/7 for volume. Basically pullin on a deadlift bar by this point tho so lifts dont count. 
Coincidentally, the dull ache in my lower back region completely went away as I did/finished my deadlifts today. Hmmm.

Thats how I have to put things back together.

Im chomping at the bit to get back to a great place.

That said, reclaiming something that took years to build hasnt been easy.

Piece by piece Thats how I have to put things back together. Im chomping at the bit to get back to a great place. That said, reclaiming something that took years to build hasnt been easy. Deadlift day. Trying some new stuff out with my form. Kinda weird. Ill figure this out. I want to have a stronger start from the floor and work on my hips shooting up before the rest of me. Ill be using a power bar for the next few weeks.

405 for an eaaaasy trip. Ive been hitting these planks and the hip and ankle mobility work hard. Judging by how this felt and looking at the clip...if I wanted to push it...this could have easily been a PR. This past month has been rough and Ive come close to quitting several times. But after today and this past week...I think I might be able to say that Ive finally hit the end of this rough patch and am ready to go hard again.

Great bench night with my boys @tparker.powlftr and @trav_the_impaler . before tonight my 315 rep max was 3 reps and tonight we got it for sets of four ( 4th set shown) . I missed my last rep on the 5th and 6th set but i was pretty beat. Huge "W" for me tonight. S/O to my girl @sadie_allen_23 for the perfect handies and congrats to my "can" sister @thereal_samiam for her 1st bench night. 6ish weeks out. Lets fucking goooo.
