Tried for 95KG but wussed out fighting the lockout. Overhead has always been a mental thing having subluxed both shoulders a number of times back when I played basketball, football or gridiron.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I I hope you all have made the best out of what today has brought you! I’m not sure if it’s the fact that spring is coming, but I’ve been trying to incorporate nee healthy habits into my daily routine the past few days. What new positive habit do you want to start this spring season?🤗🌸🌱

For example, last night I started a gratitude journal, where I plan to write three things I’m grateful for first thing when I wake up and right before I go to bed. I think it’s going to be a great way to wake up and go to bed with a positive mindset! I also plan to read for fun for at least ten minutes a day, so I put a book on my bed in hopes that I’ll remember to set aside some time to read tonight. I’m busy, but not too busy to scroll on my phone, so I can set aside 15 minutes to incorporate new positive habits into my routine.🙌🏻💞🤩

My leg workout consisted of:
▪️Superset: leg extensions to reverse lunges (5x8)
▪️Superset: banded hip thrusts to box squats (5x8)
▪️Superset: leg curls to banded jump squats (5x8)
▪️Superset: deadlifts to calf raises (5x11)

Training has officially begun for our Open 66kg duo @mark_tbs8 and @_kelvin_s prepping for IPF Classic Worlds in Sweden and IPF Bench Worlds in Japan respectively. .

With a shortened meet prep just coming back from Nats you can expect these two to be throwing around some heavy weight in the weeks to come...but for now its Volume time!! .

Monday poverty squats at RPE fml. 127.5kg/281lbs 5x8 Low Bar and 100kg/220lbs 3x6 Safety Bar. Technique slightly better than last prep while 7kg lighter in body weight. Hips are pretty janky though, they were sitting uneven until I got it fixed on the weekend. Still hurts my left flexor when warming up though.

Lots and lots of work to do, but it’s all based on my estimated 1RM from the volume block I just finished.  Even though I couldn’t use my wrist wraps due to my tattoo work, everything felt good, a little off with squats and bench for stability but that’s ok.  I sucked it up and hit all my sets/reps. Yesterday’s first workout in a calorie deficit was 🔥
.
I was finally back to hitting low rep/high weight on the deads! Started off with 405 just playing it safe and seeing how it felt. Did the first set for  3 and then stepped it up to 425 for 3. Which I’m pretty happy about! I’ve been training in the 12ish rep ranges for the past few weeks so to be at the 1-4 I’m so happy 😂
.
Following up the deadlifts i did some walking lunges which was a solid exercise to follow up with! Your lower body is already kind of taxed from deadlifting but your quads are actually pretty fresh so it works nicely!
.
Sticking with a structured program and trying to progressively overload even on a cut really holds you accountable and still pushes you to be better than the last week. I track my numbers just so i know how much to go the next time i do that workout. I highly suggest everyone goes this route! It’s fun to see your progress as well!

Not really much to say, I’m the worst at gauging my RPE sometimes. Rushed through my bench a little bit, could have been smoother. I’m currently weighing in around 108-110 lately so I’ll be implementing bodybuilding & watching my diet from here on out. I don’t have the same luxury I used to anymore not worrying about my weight now that I’ve filled out my weight class 😮🍰🍫🍪🍩🍭🍬🥤

The other day while working out with one of my best friends, @joyjakovac, we did 4 sets of glute bridges. Every time our reps increased, we decreased our weight, but on this last set we had to do 20 reps. NOW lemme tell you friends, I am my own BIGGEST doubter. I immediately told myself to go super light or I would not make it. Lucky for me, my best friend didn’t let me. She said to do more than my minimum weight... I just sat there like 😨🥺. But I told myself THIS SET, I would NOT give up and I would keep pushing EVEN when it hurt. Now... Did it hurt? ABSOLUTELY. Did I make it? YES I FRICKING DID and this video proved it (props to Joanna for recording 💕) and let me tell you, the kind of ACHIEVEMENT I felt was PRICELESS. .

Y'all, pushing yourself in the gym to do what you don't even believe you can do makes you realize just how much you can push yourself in so many other aspects in your life, EVEN when it hurts! You are so much stronger than you think. (Also, my motto is: friends are there to believe in you, when you don't believe in yourself. 315x1 On September 14 2017 (the day I hit 2 plates) I set a goal for myself to hit 3 plates before I graduate and I finally hit it all the late nights, early mornings, Friday nights, force feeding myself and more really do pay off I was never the strongest kid but I was able to catch up and pass some big fucking strong kids by simply out working them and grinding every single day no matter what but NO COMPLAINTS I do this cause I love it! Big thanks to @diabetesndeadlifts for spotting me and reminding me to push through my legs I definitely wouldn’t have gone for it if he wasn’t in the gym and thank u to my new friend aj for filming and everyone else for helping me along the way I really appreciate it and so happy I found a community where everyone helps each other out now I’m just going to get back to focusing on size and training like a bodybuilder and hopefully hit this again in a couple months with a comp pause and big thanks to @metfit_trainingfacility best gym around! #315lbs #17yearsold #benchpress #squat #powerlifting #teenbodybuilding #astetics #gymmotivation #deadlift #gymshark #workout #mrolympia

2019 : J’atteins mes objectifs et je me sens bien dans mon corps. 
On parle souvent de nouvelles résolutions parfois difficiles à tenir : soyez réalistes et mettez tout en place pour y arriver même lentement !

Mieux vaux avancer lentement que ne rien faire du tout. La progression est plus importante que la perfection. 
__
Le plus important est de croire en vous : si j’ai réussi pourquoi pas vous ?
Soyez fortes et patientes. Que cette année soit encore meilleure que les autres 🎉
