I am alive in one piece, not yet melted away!
For the past weeks, I had moments looking back in life to evaluate how I want to move forward. People say to reach higher success you need passion, persistence, and enthusiasm. There is no one perfect recipe that open the doors to greatness. Lately I’ve been feeling less motivated to be productive like what people prob portray me as being a 365 24/7 hustler. I occasionally get burnt out from working 7 days a week feeling like a lazy dehydrated squid as well. I’m in the process of self-medicating myself with motivation pills . I’ve decided that it’s ok to take a whole day off each week to just chill or to spend more time with family/friends. I’ve also put more time into investments. Why not have money make money with no physical work?
Ever since I started my venture 5 years ago, I stayed disciplined to the mindset of being humble and minimizing self gratification. So many people want to live the dream too soon by living the moment without realizing they have 40-50 more years to live. I am fine with the risk of giving up some joy now for a potentially more rewarding future. Stay on track working on YOUR goals; not comparing yourself to others.
It’s entertaining to hears others opinion about you. No, I have never been to Hawaii or any far away vacations. No, I do not have Netflix or Hulu or watch GOT or Big Bang Theory. People get mind blown when I tell them I enjoy finance, business, knowledge. Those subjects are a high for me. When I get intrigued, I will research till I am satisfied to understand the information. I feel like so many people in this era believe one is weird or not cool if they don’t follow the trend. When has it become that trends are more important than ones personality? Just like how some entrepreneurs think they are the top dog of society because someone wants to work a stable 9-5 to spend more time with their family. - 33 minutes ago
