Five years ago this ball of floof came to us. I make fun of my cats a lot, but do you know them and their stories?
Nazca was 4 years old when we adopted her. She had been living in starvation, and was heavely underweight. She smelled of farm yard animals and hadn’t learned that there was always going to be more food. So she often tried to bury food to hide it, numerous curtains got stains from that. She is a mild tempered cat, and from day one the cuddliest kitten, trusting us almost instantly. She is so loving, playful and curious. She prefers sleeping alone, in another room, but loves hugs, and wants to be carried on your hip. The way you hold a toddler. I think I’m writing this because it’s the time of year when a lot of kittens have been borne, a lot summer cats are adopted only to be abandoned, and that just makes me sad. My Nazca is living proof that cats will starve to death without a human to look after them. Even adult cats are wonderful companions and they’re so greatful for the love and food and home that you give them. I’m not going to say ”adopt don’t shop” but at least consider it if you’re in the market for a cat. #cat #sheltercat #adoptdontshop #lifewithcats #myfloofnazca #mycatplantmissi - 3 hours ago
