Do you stretch every time you workout? As I’ve gotten older it’s something I have realized I have to make more time for. I always feel so much better after my runs when I’ve stretched. 
I like to run. I would never say love because I just haven’t gotten to that place with my routine yet. Someday I will be right where I want to be with running, then I can use that four letter word.

I started my weekly goals strong already! It feels so great but I’m wore the heck out. I could go to sleep on this train instantly. I’ll squeeze in a nap at PT 🙃 Tonight I will be cooking baked ziti as it will be quick and easy on me. Work should go smoothly as it will be my regulars so I want have much physical work! My arm brace should finally be at the house today...waited 2 full extra days. I get it when it’s clothes cool I could manage but a medical supply eh my patience are lower. I have waited 6 months for this so I’m anxious. I will share more of what the plan is in a later post once I have it for a pic to share! I hope every is off to the best start of the week they can manage. Remember take life one day at a time and listen for your body! Fitness saved me and continues to do so every day ❤

I became a fitness and mindset coach because I realized the importance of providing clients with more than just a fitness plan. Learning new habits and then sticking to this new Fitness lifestyle goes beyond the physical transformation ... it is actually the mindset shift that happens in this journey that makes things change for the better 🤗

I know this from my own experience... and it's awesome when my clients start learning this too. I provide a safe space for them to open up to me. We dig deep to find the root of their problems and we work together to find solutions. And I personally love it when they realize that fitness helps them in more than one way ... When this mental shift occurs I know we're on the right path, because it's more than just physical progress, it's the emotional and mental transformation that's even bigger ❤

I just hope to continue to help and mentor as many people (especially young women) as I can in their journey to be their better-selves 🤗

How do you prep for your work week? ⠀

Do you spend time Sunday doing any work, planning your schedule or reviewing your calendar to see what you are about to face for the new week ahead? Or, do you just start Monday fresh and ready to tackle whatever task comes your way?⠀

I like to use Sunday afternoons/early evenings to schedule some emails, make my to-do list of the high priority projects that need done early in the week and then the smaller tasks that can follow. I look at my Google calendar (on my phone) to see what calls are scheduled. Overall, I really like to just mentally prepare for what will be happening the first few days of the week. Knowing on a base level what I need to do, what clients I need to focus on and what I need to have prepared for calls or meetings brings me some peace of mind, before I start to dive in and get really busy on Monday mornings. I remember when the sun would come out, I would love it but also dread it. 
Love it because I truly do love the sun and warm weather.
Dread it because that meant I wasn’t able to wear my hoodie to cover my stomach, my arms, and my chest. I didn’t feel comfortable in T-shirt’s it tank tops. I was the girl that got the HUGE tank tops and HUGE shirts that didn’t cling to my body. When in reality they only made me look bigger. 
I woke up today, looked outside and instantly thought “I’m going to wear that tank top dress I got a couple weeks ago” 
Here I am rocking this dress with the confidence I have never had before. 
Arms are still flabby, stomach is still flabby, legs are still flabby. I still have work to do. But damn, it feels so good to wear this and be happy, and not be self conscious. My legs, arms, and stomach are not where I want to be but I’m on my 
way there. ONE DAY AT A TIME👏🏼💪🏼 .

Sometimes we feel we have to fight and claw or way to success, and worse, do it alone. 
Sure that's one way, but is it the best way? 
I love having a tribe and being around like minded people. It reminds me that the goal I'm working towards is attainable. It gives me energy and motivation to work hard, and do it with help from others.

I want to build a community of women who love their bodies, who take care of their bodies and inspire and cheer others on to do the same. 
The strength and power we have together is remarkable, friends. There's nothing we can't accomplish when we work as one. We lift each other up and the possibilities become endless.

But if you’re like most people and hate Monday’s, then here’s a few tips to get you back on track to conquer Monday’s and make your week count:

1. Create a list of goals for the week and for the day. Make sure it’s not more than 2-3 solid goals that can be accomplished (this will boost your confidence when you crush them!)
. 
2. Do some easy exercises or movements to keep your body moving during the day. Stand up and work. Walk around when you take a break. Get some sunlight during your lunch. Just don’t stagnate.

3. Keep your head up! It’s Monday after all and you will likely be rather tired and feeling down. Lift your head up, smile, and say “I GOT THIS!” Condition yourself out of the Monday blues 👍🏼
