Our Living & Arts Monday program attended a community event at Bibra Lake Regional Park last month to celebrate International Day of People with Disability.
The members had a great morning interacting and enjoying some performances by local dance groups. They also had the opportunity to have a walk in the new bird aviary and were lucky enough to have a visit from Santa.

END FOOD WASTE!
As the #governmentshutdown reaches close to 30 days, #foodwaste is on the forefront.
Join @blackpress_radio in demanding companies like @wholefoods@foodemporium@sboprite@safeway@kroger@ralphs and others REDUCE their food waste and make it available to #seniorcitizens#governmentemployees#Homeless#domesticviolence survivors, foster care centers, low income child care centers
CONTACT YOUR LOCAL GROCERY STORE and find out what they do with day old bread, food waste and ask if you or your group can reclaim it and use it to feed people. Offer to sign waivers so they don't try to claim legal reasons for dumping pounds of food.
TEAM UP with a church, sorority or fraternity to organize ways to help people - not - just government workers.
TURN AN ABANDONED LOT into a community garden and grow your own food.
REMEMBER THIS: Many #AfricanAmerican families only ate when their mother or father brought home LEFTOVERS from the White families hey worked for hence the term: "...from the scraps we are given..." - 13 hours ago
“Working aerobic exercise into your senior fitness routine will have a big impact on the health of your lungs. Aerobic exercise is also called “cardio” because it gets your heart rate up, pumping more blood and oxygen to your muscles and body. Regular aerobic exercise allows the entire pulmonary system to increase the maximum amount of oxygen that the lungs can handle, toning the lungs as well as the heart.” As always trust thank you for tuning into @theprocess.p.r. and stay tuned for more info on how to thrive not just survive

The Grand Collective program which commenced in October 2017 will continue to invite young local community families and our seniors to interact in February 2019. Those attending have enjoyed the intergenerational interaction and the unique friendships that continue to blossom. Each generation has different values and expectations of their life which when shared are understood and valued.
To join this group please email Avril our Coordinator of Volunteers on email@example.com or call 9319 0900.

Deskgram is a powerful tool for telling a visual story about your brand. As social media users continue to demand more visual content, brands will need a platform where they can share photos that will visually engage their target audience.
