I used to have this niggling sense that I wasn’t enough. I wasn’t a good mummy, I wasn’t healthy enough, under confident, mask wearing, I wasn’t thin enough... and I’ll be honest, I sometimes have niggles now.. if you do too, it’s ok.
We don’t have to be perfect or have perfect thoughts about ourselves.
The difference is now, I show up for myself regardless.. I show up every single day.
Sometimes I have to force myself but I show up. I choose to speak positively to me.
I allow myself to wear beautiful things, eat amazing food, invest in myself, take care of me, physically with exercise and mentally with meditation and affirmations.
I’m not perfect, but I do this for me and I do this to #inspire other women. I want people to think, if Kelly can do it, so can I! I want to offer care and support, guidance.. I want to be your cheerleader.
Practicing self love and acceptance has made all the difference in my life.. I deliberately use the word ‘practice’ because like most personal development, it’s life long work.
I used to look at other women who were naturally thin, athletic, muscly, vibrant and seemed to have it all together, and think, lucky moo!
But it’s all so much more than that. I felt sluggish, unmotivated and constantly tired. I wanted to have more energy, feel confident and healthy.
Total self love is your birth right. It’s about you living your best life. It’s knowing you 100% deserve it.. no matter what that means to you. It’s not about losing weight, it’s about loving yourself unconditionally and then consciously choosing what you want to create in your life.
