So, a girl came upto me, while I was teaching, and showed me a tooth clasped in her palm. Oh, ho! I alerted the class with an announcement- 'S is a very important person right now! She's going to be visited by the tooth fairy today and if you have any wishes that need fulfillment, you have to request her to convey the same.' The girl giggled and so did the class.
One boy stood up with a 'S, I want a chocolate.' I jumped in, taking a chocolate outta my bag, threw it at him with a mock angry voice saying 'we are not wasting our wishes on chocolates, P.' I wanted to tease them further, so I asked if they thought these myths or tales were untrue. And majorly, the boys said yes! Santa Claus being touted as an example!
Now, that got me defensive. 'Santa Claus is real and he lives in Lapland. I shall visit him and send you a postcard from there and then you shall believe in his existence,' I offered playfully. The girls quickly clapped and the boys kept on with their arguments.
Moral of the story:
1. I love behaving like an eleven year old trapped in an adult body at times. LOL
2. Santa Claus is real, okay?
3. Boys have no heart, no imagination.
4. Girls are the best! We genuinely believe in the Harry Potter quote that "those who don't believe in magic will never find it."
