65 min trainer ride (well, I used my spin bike...) I need new pedals on my new bike, so opted to ride the spin. My plantar fascia on my foot is a little pissy, so I’m giving it a break. It’s been aggravated for a few weeks, and I got it checked out yesterday. Nothing serious, but a little inflammation. It’s a little aggravating because I had such a great workout on Tuesday, but my recovery run yesterday was a little painful. It’s been going back-and-forth like that for a few weeks. I want to play it smart. Nothing a little RICE can’t help, but I have to be willing to follow through.
My topic today for @inspiringwomenrunners is actually soreness vs. injury, so I’m feeling prepared mentally on how to deal with my bum foot! Being smart is the best medicine, and that’s the plan. -
