Happy Easter everyone.
Off topic (no chocolate at all in this post, sorry) I have just had my attention drawn to an alarming movement which supports eating disorders. I looked it up and fell onto a site that, in my opinion, should not be allowed to exist!
A series of diets inciting vulnerable to people to basically starve themselves (ie day one 1/2 apple for breakfast, same for lunch and a cucumber for dinner). All are totally calorie based with reams of numbers - lists of 30 day, 90 day etc numbers of calories to consume. Giving about a days worth of an average womans calories on standard diet over 3-6 days.
I could feel the pull from days long gone and that pull was control.
This is such a fundamental part of so many 'disorders' a need to control and be using control at all times to feel safe/ be occupied/ have something to go for, live for and ultimately, sadly, in this case to die for.
Lets give ourselves and our loved ones the luxury of health, strength, vitality.
Disorders usually have a root and you know how we love to dig those roots up here. Dig 'em up, sort 'em out and move on.
If you want control of your eating do it by making every mouthful count, eat a rainbow at each meal (not one colour a day - above was white day by the way, orange day was half an orange for breakfast and lunch and a carrot for dinner...) forget calories, they are just numbers, if every mouthful is nourishing you cravings and mindless eating will fade away. Eat as much as you need, don't eat until you are stuffed (ask yourself, you are very clever, you do know what you need you just have to listen - and to actually ask the question!).
Feed yourself, friends and family delicious and nourishing food. Create your defense, your energy, your feeling of peace - yes, food does all that.

OK, I have to say it ... come here and let us dig your roots up (optional ;), help sort disturbing and inhibiting issues, cleanse and nourish you and teach you easy ways to up the anti on your health, wealth and happiness.
