Alannah and I have been working together for a few months now. She’s my first “online” client as I’ve been supporting her as she travels. In her own words: I've been working with Ross for a few months now and I am stronger than I've ever been. I've always been on the thinner side so building a more muscular body is pretty different for me. I was always made fun of for how weak I was, and had a hard time allowing myself to be coached on anything atheltic related. In dance, I was called "Quitter", when I did boot camp, I was given the name "Princess" but working with Ross, my name has only ever been "Alannah" . Ross focused on what I can do, rather than where I struggle, and when I'd say "I can't do that", he'd convince me I can, and I would - whether it was lifting more weight or completing a new workout. Personal training has to be 'personal' and Ross has been able to see where I am emotionally and physically and help me strengthen both of those. What I've learned in the gym with Ross has carried out into my personal life as well. When I'm faced with the feeling that I can't do something - from a previous belief usually set by other individuals in my life - I am reminded of the workouts I truly didn't think I could do, but tried and excelled at.
Working out isn't just about getting stronger and more flexible physically, but emotionally and mentally as well, something Ross handles with ease.
I recommend anyone to workout with Ross and see exactly what I mean. Thanks Ross! :D #fitness #fitchicks #strength #resiliency #authenticity #strongwomen - 1 hour ago
