Yesterday was a shit day to start, you know when you just wake up in a shit mood, not wanting to face the work or the chores that come with the day ahead.....yep that was me.... foul! For F sake it was a Saturday and everyone was chillin and I had fun fomo! I was a green eyed monster and then everything they did that wouldn’t usually annoy me did, my poor frown lines, my poor family. I sat in that cloud till like 2pm, did you know that negative thoughts held for more that 17 seconds only become another negative thought and then another, and then your mind makes it spiral into a bad day.
Then I realized I have given my bad day enough of my time, I remembered so many thing, it’s you who’s CHOOSING to be in a shit mood, it’s you who can CHANGE your day, mood, mindset, the day OUTSIDE your brain is fine, you control how you THINK and therefore HOW things happen to you during the day. A good or bad day simply comes down to how you choose to SEE it. Get out of your head and into your heart. Do something you enjoy while at work bec, chuck on some music, make yourself a coffee, listen to a podcast, choose to see the positives in the moment/day your in, daydream, have a glass of water, recite you affirmations, gaze at your vision board on your home screen, sniff some yummy oil, call someone for a quick chat, practice gratitude - self care you silly bitch!
