It’s relatively rare for a patient to seek out my help specifically for a brow lift. It’s historically not been an especially popular procedure, probably because of poor results from outdated techniques - which resulted in patients appearing perpetually surprised post-op.
But when someone comes to me complaining about looking tired all the time, or wondering why people are always asking them if there’s something wrong, most of the time it’s because their brow is sagging - resulting in furrows between the brows as well as lateral hooding - that draping skin at the outer edge of the eyes.
In my practice, I routinely perform temporal brow lifts, which produce minimal scarring hidden in the scalp, to brighten and refresh the area around the brow and upper eyelid. Commonly I combine the procedure with a facelift, as seen in this lovely woman, to rejuvenate the entire face, maintaining a balanced, natural result.
