Express myself. Why do I not like treveling?️🗺️🚂
Disclamer. Here I talk about trips that require flights, not local trains, long car commutes. Also they should be shorter than approx. 3️⃣ weeks. .
️Overwelming anxiety. There are chances that one misses a flight, forgets something important, loses luggage, loses a passport whatever else that can happen.
️Sucrifice my daily comfort. Even if I live in the most comfortable appartment ever, I am out of my daily routine. I can not sleep in a new place, for example.
️Out of my comfort zone. Every adventure is full of surprises beyond my comfort zone. You do not plan for creepy situations, they just happen. .
️Vegetarian's issue. There are not so many countries, which are actually vegetarian friendly. So every time for me is a lottery if I am able to eat properly or sallad is my everything.
️Global warming. I feel so bad to contribute to CO2 emission when I take flights or drive a car.
️Luggage. I HATE the process of packing and unpacking. I usually wait till the last moment to pack, this way I do not have another option. And I usually do not unpack my staff, it lies in a suitcase for ever (which I also hate). .
️Time. From my experience my maximum commute time, which I can handle beeing alive, is 3️⃣ hours and yet I feel exhausted afterwards. Everything longer kills me. Changing time zones is a kille as well. You can handle one shift better then another, but usually you still need to do both. .
️Lonelyness. Never ever again I travel alone. I did it a few times in the past, and now I travel only either for work or with someone.
️Frequency. Of caurse it depends on how often I have to travel. I think my ideal time interval between trips is 3️⃣ months. One trip per month for a long enough time is a good way to be stressed and depressed. .
I am pretty sure I miss something else.
