Hi everyone, I hope you've had a great day. It's been a luscious one over at HWK HQ - there have been Bliss balls, smoothie bowls and lots of tea-making! Always tea. I also re-discovered my banner that I had made for The Sun & Moon Festival a couple of summers ago 🌞🌙 I loved doing the smoothie workshop and talking to people about the benefits of blending and juicing! It reminded me that there really are no limits to what we can achieve; anything is possible if we put our minds to it and our hearts in it. For me, the combination of vision, determination and self-belief seem to be a winning formula that's making some really exciting things happen. So, whatever your particular formula for winning is, keep doing that! Don't be limited by or feel afraid of those pesky thoughts of self-doubt, they're really there to show us a) how far we've come and b) that we can do it! Keep pushing forwards and forging your way towards your goals.....That's my thought for a Friday evening 💞💞💞

Homemade hot sauce part 2.
After fermenting our chillie & garlic mince for a week, I blended it with white vinegar until smooth, simmered it for a few minutes, and poured it into a clean jar.
It passed the beanadilla test, spicy, fermented, with a sweet kick!
(Yes i am eating tucked into cozy quilts as the desert has been rainy and cold the past few days)

Simple. Beautiful. Healthy. I absolutely LOVE watermelon! 🍉🍉🍉 It's the perfect post-workout thirst-quencher for sure! Prior to going to the gym, I chop some wedges and store in the fridge. If I have a little bit more time, I'll dunk in some melted choc and sprinkle with desiccated coconut or chopped almonds. There's nothing more vibrant for the eyes and nourishing for the gut than the humble yet juicy, delicious watermelon! It's actually best eaten prior to heavy food as its transit is quicker (owing to the fact that it's pre-digested). Anyway, I will continue to munch my way through this at my current rate. It's making me feel amazing and my skin is glowing! Score! 🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉

Roast tomato & pepper soup! 🍅 by popular demand, as many of you asked for soup recipes. This soup by @bosh.tv is easy and flavorful.
.
Tips:
Because I’m lazy I’d probably just roast everything together.

I never buy soy cream so I’d substitute plant-based milk or almond creamer for that step.

I also would blend it in a blender right after roasting (as I don’t have a hand-held blender) and do the simmer step IF needed after I taste it. Always hate washing extra pots.

CHICKEN WING INGREDIENTS
1 ½ Pounds Fresh Chicken Wings
2 Tablespoons Gluten Free Tamari
1 Tablespoon Avocado Oil
✨
STICKY SAUCE INGREDIENTS
¼ Cup Gluten Free Tamari
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar Substitute
1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
¼ Cup Avocado Oil
½ Teaspoon Worcestershire *eliminate for whole30
½ Tablespoon Blackstrap Molasses
Pinch of Himalayan Salt
✨
ASSEMBLY
1. Marinate wings for a minimum of one hour with tamari and avocado oil. 
2. Place chicken wings in air fryer basket.
3. Fry at 400° F for 40 minutes, flipping once at 20.
In a small sauce pan mix together tamari, brown sugar substitute, garlic, avocado oil, Worcestershire, molasses, and salt. 
4. With 10 minutes remaining on the wings, bring the sauce to a boil.
Once the sauce is boiling, immediately remove from heat and whisk well. 
5. In a large mixing bowl add wings and sauce. 
5. Coat all wings with sauce.
SERVES 4

This will make a great vegan Thanksgiving side dish tomorrow @plantbasedblonde 🌱 Stuffed Acorn Squash

To Make:
1. Cut acorn squash in half and roast on a lined baking sheet for 45 minutes at 400° (flip halfway through).
2. Cook 1 cup rinsed quinoa in 2 cups veggie broth.
3. Sauté 1 chopped onion in olive oil until soft and translucent, than add 2 minced garlic cloves and stir for 30 seconds. Add to cooked quinoa. Toss in about 1/2 cup craisins, 1 diced apple, some turmeric, black pepper, sea salt and combine. (Apple sage @fieldroast would be delish crumbled up in here too but I was out).
4. Fill acorn squash with quinoa mixture, top with pumpkin seeds, green onion and enjoy!

No recipiente  de montagem coloque uma camada da farofinha , prense bem para que ela fique firme.
Acrescente uma camada generosa do creme de ricota e cubra com uma geleia de sua preferência.
Deixe algumas horas na geladeira e sirva geladinho !

A geleia usei uma orgânica de amora com açúcar. Não usei nenhuma diet e light pois a lista de ingredientes é enorme e com adoçantes que não fazem bem ao organismo e conforme estudos alguns adoçantes podem até engordar.
 Assim,  como não sou diabética e  nem tenho resistência a insulina  dou preferência a produtos artesanais que sei que contém pouco açúcar.

Você pode também fazer a sua geleia em casa sem açúcar 😋 .
Fica uma delicia tambem com goiabada na cobertura.

On Friday nights I want pizza. Lately I’ve been making it at home with cauliflower crust. This one has pesto, red onion, olives, peppers, chicken, cheese and collard greens (yes I put greens on my pizza). Creamy Lentil, Mushroom & Hemp 🍄Pasta by @sobeautifullyreal ✨
.
Approx 250g of your fave pasta, cooked via packet instructions
2 tbsp vegan butter
1 red onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2-3 cups button mushrooms, sliced
1 can lentils, drained
1/2 cup hemp seeds
1/2 cup veggie stock
1/2 cup tahini
1/2 cup coconut milk or cream
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp maple syrup or coconut nectar
Juice 1/2 lemon
Parsley to garnish
1 tsp hemp oil to garnish .
1. Sauté the onion in vegan butter until translucent.
2. Add the garlic & onion to the pan and sauté until mushrooms are golden brown.
3. Add the lentils, hemp seed, veggie stock, coconut milk, tahini, salt, onion powder, pepper, maple & lemon. Stir & heat through until well combined.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and stir until well combined.
Season to taste & serve with fresh parsley & hemp oil.

• 3/4 cup @simpletruth4u organic crushed tomato
• 1/2 large avocado
• Dash of red pepper flake
• 1/4 cup of olive oil
• 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast
• 2 tsp of Italian seasoning • Salt + Pepper 
Add ingredients to a blender/food processor and blend till combined. Tossed with chickpea pasta and topped with fresh basil, avocado, more red pepper flakes and olive oil 🤤

1 bunch spinach (washed)
10-12 deveined shrimp 🍤
1 medium diced onion
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 cayenne (add more if you like)
1/2 cumin
2 tbs cilantro
Oil
Once onion turns brown add turmeric, cayenne, cumin. Mix about a minute. Add the shrimp. Mix about one more minute. Next, add spinach. Cook about 3-4 minutes. Garnish with cilantro. Happy cooking! Enjoy!!!
