‘Burn-Out’ is now a legitimate syndrome according to the World Health Organization.
If you have any of these symptoms:
Feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion
Increased mental distance from one’s job
Feelings of negativism Cynicism related to one’s job
Reduced professional efficacy
These are the symptoms of burn-out! If you have these then you must make a change in your work environment and ask yourself, what can I do different? 🗝Well for one, if you haven’t taken a break, you definitely need one. Go on an exciting vacation or simply do something that excites you for a couple of days!
🗝If you don’t have a clearly define goal, then take your time to really figure out what do you really want to do or accomplish. 🗝Decide whether the work you are doing you do love. If you don’t what would you love to be doing.
🗝If you don’t exercise, start exercising whether is first thing in the morning or after work.
If you have any of these symptoms don’t push them aside, because you are not helping yourself nor your organization.
