Quinoa toast for the breakfast. #quinoaflour #almondmilk #egg or #chiawater depends on ur will to have vegan choice. Mix them, put a baking paper (not white😉) in a iron cast pan and pour the mixtured liquid on it. Close the lid, a while later make an upside down and if u want put a little bit cheese and close with the other half. Really smells good and delicious and a healthy choice for the breakfast.

Quinoa #vega salade 🥗✨ met gegrilde aubergine en courgette, komkommer, galia meloen, rode ui, gedroogde pruimen, zongedroogde tomaten, feta & amandelen 💛✨ en het lekkerste erbij is nog wat parmezaanse kaas, maar ook heerlijk zonder! Super simpel om te maken, wel veel ingrediënten dus handig om deze salade met meerdere personen te maken.

Heel gezond door de verschillende groenten, vetten uit noten en feta en de langzame koolhydraten uit de quinoa en groenten 💪

- 150 gram quinoa
- 2 aubergines
- 1 courgette
- 1 komkommer
- 1 rode ui
- feta
- hand amandelen
- hand gedroogde pruimen
- zongedroogde tomaten
- 1/2 galia meloen

Bereiding 🌿
1. Grill de aubergine en courgette in de oven of in een grillpan mooi bruin.
2. Kook de quinoa zoals op de verpakking staat.
3. Snij de aubergine en courgette, en daarna de overige ingrediënten klein.
4. Voeg alles samen in een saladeschaal 🥗 en readyyyy✨✨✨

Quinoa white flakes milk bread. I modified the recipe for japanese hotel loaf (previous post) to include full eggs, quinoa white flakes and a dose of wholemeal flour. Also squeezed 3 trails of salted butter on top before baking. Results: tender moist crumbs with salted buttery crust.

So the wild cafe in @bedruthanhotel does THE most amazing harissa, quinoa & cauliflower burger on focaccia with salad an aoli. The waiters were more than happy to accommodate and not include the butter and cheese too.

Eggs- cluded for my vegan brunch,  one of my favourite healthy place close to the city is @urbanprojuice . Everything is vegan on the menu' except eggs, but trust me you won't miss meat at all. Their sweet cabinet is also always packed with healthy bars and slices and it is impossible to leave without getting anything to take away. La production de quinoa au Pérou a connu un vrai boom au cours des dernières décennies avec une demande de plus en plus grande des pays occidentaux. Rien qu’entre 2013 et 2015 ce qu’on appelait jusqu’à présent « la céréale du pauvre » a connu une augmentation de ses exportations de 300%. La conséquence : « l’or des Andes » est devenu cher au Pérou et est devenu un produit de luxe, impayable pour une partie de la population, alors que c’est un plat populaire depuis toujours. Beaucoup de paysans ont commencé à en faire pousser en basse altitude alors qu’elle pousse naturellement en haute altitude. Pour ce faire, ils utilisent énormément de pesticides, ce qui a des conséquences désastreuses sur la santé des consommateurs. Heureusement, des organisations comme « Pamparque » produisent encore du quinoa durable c’est à dire en respectant la planète, la santé, et le travailleur. Cependant, les récoltes des agriculteurs dépendent fortement des pluies et du climat, de plus en plus instables avec le changement climatique.

Vroeg ontbijt vandaag! Gisteravond maakte ik daarom alvast een jam/puree/spread/ofhoezalikhetnoemen van paarse zoete aardappel, paarse wortel, een klein rood uitje, pruimensap en amazake. Vanmorgen maakte ik pap van quinoavlokken en lepelde ik hier wat van mijn paarse mengsel doorheen. Ook besloot ik wat bramen en een kleine lepel granola over mijn ontbijt te scheppen, want dat kleurde er zo mooi bij. ;) #eatingfortheinsta 😉

Dankzij mijn puree/spreadachtig-iets kon ik tóch genieten van een zoet ontbijt, maar heb ik ook gelijk wat groenten binnen gekregen. De volgende keer zou ik echter wel voor havermout of een ander soort granenvlokken kiezen, want ik blijk niet zo'n fan te zijn van de smaak en structuur van quinoa-pap. Voor de rest: prima ontbijt!

Something healthy before the weekend and all the binge eating kicks in.... This is a simple salad made of quinoa, halloumi cheese and pomegranate seeds... The combo blends in with each other so well and makes for a good refreshing salad which is also quite filling thanks to the quinoa.... A Mediterranean inspired, healthy quinoa salad with sun-dried tomatoes and aubergine. It is so tasty, delightful, and refreshing as a light lunch, picnic, or as a side dish for BBQ.

INGREDIENTS:
Mains
🍆150g uncooked tri-coloured quinoa
🍆1 medium aubergine (about 300g), cut into 3-4mm slices
🍆50g oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and chopped
🍆10g fresh parsley, finely chopped
🍆25g walnut, finely chopped

Dressing
🍆2 tablespoons olive oil
🍆1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
🍆1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
🍆1 clove garlic, minced
🍆1/2 tsp salt
🍆Zest from 1 lemon
🍆Pinch of black pepper
🍆Extra salt and water for soak and boil

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Soak the aubergine in salted water for 5 minutes.
2. Cook the tri-coloured quinoa in salted water. For timing, follow the instructions on the packaging. It should usually take around 10 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, drain and dry the aubergine slices with a kitchen towel.
4. Heat a griddle pan or grill. Cook the aubergine slices in batches for 2-3 mins, turning once, until softened and lightly charred. Set aside.
5. Once the quinoa is cooked, rinse in cold water. Shake through a sieve to remove any excess water and set aside.
6. Place all of the main ingredients in a large mixing bowl and add the lemon zest using a grater.
7.Combine the rest of the dressing into a bowl, mixing well.
8. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. It is now ready to serve.
