Even though I don't know for sure whether I nailed the job or not (although I felt pretty confident after my interview... It's all in the eye of the beholder), this has been the highlight of my day! I've been SO incredibly happy and hopeful all day today.
I don't share about my failures on here too often but, after being super successful in high school & my first year of college to literally getting rejected from many job, scholarship, and internship opportunities over these past 2 years (I know, it's a lot in a long time), I now realize that failure is a key part to your success. Yup. You read that right. Wanna know why? Because, while those opportunities may have helped along the way, they weren't meant to be. Let's say I did get that job I applied for a year ago, I could have either loved it or hated it. Whatever reason it was for me being rejected, something better was in store for me and I really feel that this job I interviewed for today is that 'something better'. Just remember, if you're going through something similar, it's not a matter of 'if' it's gonna happen but 'when' it's gonna happen!
Patience is a virtue, and hustle and heart will set you apart, girl! You've got this! ️ - 4 hours ago
