High bar squats x 212.5kg 
Then squat lockouts with 232.5kg x 25 
Finally some low box squats for cardio. 5 minutes (totalled just over 50 reps without putting the bar back with 85kg). I put on 52.5kg on my squat since May 3 (started at 160kg). I reckon next few months I’ll focus on low box squats and lockouts 💪

So this was awesome. I've actually NEVER completed a bench workout with the Duffalo bar because it's always made my shoulder pain a lot worse, so I've either switched back to a normal barbell for the workout or cut it short. Not today. .

Shoulders were feeling good, so after 300# for a pause rep triple and a failed attempt at a 310# touch and go triple, I got this 210# AMRAP of, I believe, 17 reps. And it felt like a Fisherprice bar. Very very very happy with this. .

In between sets, I was walking to the water fountain. As I was walking, this middle aged, pretty lady was staring at me intensely, and smiled slightly, so a little unsure of what I should do, I smiled back. She then said, much to my surprise, “My dear, you are soooo strong.” I replied “thank you”, and smiled for the rest of the night.

Being told that I am strong is the best compliment I could receive. Being strong is literally my only goal in life. To be strong for my children as a mother, to be strong for my kids at work, to be strong in my personal relationships, and to be strong for myself. Im not going to lie, was scared af tonight putting 325 on my back. That’s almost 2.5 times my body weight. Despite my fears, I still got under the weight and squatted it. I did it, and I’m working to take that into other areas of my life, as there are several currently where I’m stalling; I’m holding back and not allowing myself to see my full potential because I’m scared. Today was a good reminder that I am strong, and I can handle whatever I put my focus on! .

Maybe it’s time to study and take that test. Maybe it’s time to stop worrying about what might be and open myself up. Maybe it’s time to “stop being a p*#!y as @donnie.ross.242 would say, and go for everything I’m scared of, because if I don’t aim for anything, then I’m really just aiming to fail. .

Max lower 6/17/19. Reverse band squats 325 for a single. Deficit sumo deadlifts 315 5rm. I didn’t pee myself 🙌🏼. Followed by sled pulls, and I’ll finish accessories tomorrow as Mommy duties called and I had to drop my kid off at practice.
