If there’s anything that I’ve learned while transforming myself and our business, it’s that you need to embrace, celebrate and marvel at change.
Over the years I’ve been criticized for how quickly I pick things up (yoga, ketones, blonde hair, red hair, jobs, friendships, relationships...) and place them down a little while later.
For a period of time I thought there was something wrong with me.
“Why can’t I stick to one thing?”
“Why haven’t I figured it out yet?”
“Why am I so flakey?”
But what we often don’t realize is that those things that most criticize us for, are often our greatest gifts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The ability to shift my mind, my body, my direction with speed is my greatest gift. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My curiosity for this life is what sets me apart. My understanding of the mind, the body, business and my “give no fucks” attitude toward change is my super power - one that many entrepreneurs would be wise to adopt.
Pick up the yogi hat, the business owner hat, the paleo hat and see how it fits. If it works, wonderful! If it doesn’t, toss that shitty hat to the side and pick up a new one.
These photos are one year apart and what’s beautiful is that I see the beauty in both versions of me for the first time.
Society tells us to compare the two. Which is better? Which version is worse? But I won’t give in to that nonsense.
Both version simply are.
Both have their highs and lows.
Both have strengths and weaknesses.
Both are equally enough.
I’m unrecognizable and I plan on making an equally as big shift before July 2020 simply by embracing change.
EDGE OF EVOLUTION is open for enrolment (link in bio) if you need support in your transformation.
We often run from change, But fuck life gets amazing when we embrace it.
But what I’m really trying to say is that the way to success is simply in wearing more hats.
