Excited to say that I’ll be taking to the platform again for the YNE juniors. I’m a little older and wiser than I was at my last competition, I have learnt a lot and done a lot of personal growth since then. I’m ready to go out there and have fun with no pressure or expectations of myself.

Credits: @nattyknowledge (@save.repost)No matter what exercise you are doing, it is important that you stay tight throughout the lift. It helps you stay safe and output as much power as possible.

On the bench, I find that most people are able to keep it tight on the first rep, but lose the upper back tightness on those subsequent reps.

This is because most people work on their set up but not the reps itself.
-
What helps me keep tight throughout the bench whether it is 2 or 8 reps is imagining the bench press in a different way.
-
When you are at the top, I find it helpful to imagine pushing your chest up at the bar instead of dropping the bar to your chest. When you are at the bottom, try imagining pushing away from the bar, into the bench (like an upside down push-up. The ground stays still but your body moves)

Tras un par de intentos nefastos de rm en casa, @arreunicornio_gutiteam 😍 y yo ( con @roberthor_power de copiloto XD ) nos fuimos de excursión a Curtis a ver si gracias a la veta de uranio de allí salían por fin los 220kg... y me vuelvo con 230kg sufridiños y las tripas aun en su sitio más o menos 🤣 la noche y el día tirar con una barra y discos decentes. It's back day! However, instead of doing my usual conventional deadlift, I've switched to sumo to get more leg activation. Doing my best to force my little ham legs to grow into horse legs 🐖 ➡️ 🐎

No spot, no rack off, pause on the first rep, and every single rep touching the chest! My bench used to be shit, I remember when I was scared to even attempt 140KG! Then I confronted my fears, worked hard and made it average. But now, I’m fukn grinding to make it strong af! I will bench 200KG raw one day! If you don’t believe me, keep following me!

I changed my numbers because I’ve been pushing hard on my bench, and it called for 97.5kg for 2x2 but I still (being lazy) put two plates on
Got a real shaky single and knew the second would be a stretch. Lost position anyway and it’s a weak movement sooo I binned it 🤷🏻‍♂️

The way many women portray themselves on social media makes me sick.
Displaying your glutes in close-up doesn’t make you a feminist, it clearly shows how brainwashed you are. Thinking that your only value lies in the size of your boobs is delirious, not only, you are propagating the lie that this is what women are supposed to do to appeal to men. Wrong.
Don’t objectify yourself, don’t sell yourself, don’t be a product. 
You don’t need to expose your body, they won’t love you more. 
You don’t need to be perfect, perfection is a lie (also boring).
Be different, be passionate, let your voice be heard, be yourself.
