Arh dejligt at kunne slap af efter at været til møde hele dagen. On Sunday I took myself out for an extremely tasty late brunch. I did a 90 minute @orangetheory class then needed to refuel.

I went to @cafehollander in the Wauwatosa Village and had all this tasty food.
.
I started my meal with The Milwaukeean Bloody Mary which was garnished with bacon, olives, carrot, pickle, and a cheese curd.
.
For my meal I had the tomato bisque and a mushroom and gruyère omelette. I managed to finish everything except for a few fries. I’ll definitely be back before I leave.

My lunch on-the-go today. I hardly ever eat lunch at home nowadays. I’m usually out with the kids doing some kind of activities after I pick them up from half-day camp. So, I’ll probably be sharing more of what I pack myself for lunch. Today’s lunch using @easylunchboxes :

How do you start your day? -Do you read? -Do you watch a show on Netflix? -Do you eat a giant breakfast? -Do you exercise? -Do you jump out of bed and run out the door because your late everyday? 
I find that for me waking up early, eating breakfast, and heading to the gym makes me feel the best throughout the rest of my day. Although, I love change and embrace it I’ve found that keeping a solid morning routine helps me stay consistent with my diet and exercise. 
Starting a new morning routine can sometimes be very hard. -Do I have to wake up earlier? -Do I need to take a little less time getting ready in the morning? 
The two main things I do every night that help me continue my morning routine is... 1. Put my meals for the next day in ready to go containers.
2. Lay my clothes out. 
These two simple steps make life that much easier in the morning. Try it out! You might be surprised how much faster you get out the door.

Feeling good today! Got a later start so we had full sun the whole time, BUT my pace was better than it has been, so I guess I’m getting my groove back!

But I wanted to focus this post on my post workout breakfast! I’ve talked about @dailyharvest delivery cups in the past, but I’ve found my absolute favorite! This is a smoothie with coconut, cacao, cold brew coffee, lions mane mushroom powder, cauliflower, dates, and more. I used milk for my liquid base, and y’all, it tastes JUST like a mocha Frappuccino from Starbucks! I’m going to be replacing my breakfast with one of these babies 5 days a week to see how I affects my performance and appetite, because it’s super filling. Plus it tastes positively SINFUL so I could have it pretty much daily and be happy!

Happy tuesday friends 🤩 After a pretty restless night (which is completely normal for me) I actually got up around 5:45 feeling super refreshed and ready for the day!!! I was expecting to feel a little sluggish but no complaints here - I’m just rolling with it!.

Simple bowl of messy goodness. Breakfast was eaten at 1pm today. Not intentionally intermittent fasting but a busy schedule and a generally  small appetite in the morning often means I eat breakfast quite late and to be honest it really works for me. Means I can get all the shit I need to get done done and then sit down to a leisurely breakfast like this. Often find that if I start eating later in the day there is a lot less mindless snacking throughout the day. So this morning had some frozen berries, a chopped peach, half a banana, topped with @alpro Soy yoghurt, a healthy spoonful of @picspeanutbutter and some branflakes!! Probably won't eat again till dinner but that will be an equally satisfying and nutrient dense meal. -

Tuesday morning was success, I fell today on 110%,and it is very opposite than yesterday, yesterday for me was a struggle, I did not had an energy, at all. So I missed my workout, as would not be able to perform anything, and I'm happy I did that as I had two days to my body to recover, and today was success 🌞💪

Having my post workout meal chicken filet with salad 🥗, full of protein, good carbs, fat from avacado, and fibre from green, pluss vitamins ☑️

Plan for the day catch up with hause work, my studies and have afternoon walk with my little poppet ♥️

Fasted workout/30 veg a week challenge 
Certain workouts I really enjoy doing fasted, yoga is one of them. HIIT training with @equals_results is definitely not advised to do fasted 😅 
Had a lovely vinyasa flow session with Jackie @oneyogalondon this morning. I did it fasted and felt incredibly light. But afterwards I needed to re-fuel.

Just been for a run, so I'm glad I prepped this yesterday 😅😅😅. Pretty much what I had last night, but with added houmous 👌👌👌. So in the bowl, we have: rice, green lentils, tofu, red onion, spinach, avocado and houmous. Cooked oil-free yesterday, eaten cold today with added spices. ROASTED TERIYAKI TOFU 😋 + OIL-FREE ROASTED TATERS 🥔 + MANGO 🥭 I smashed this meal after lifting yesterday and it was so satisfying! Normally I have greens with my meals but I had a bunch for lunch 🥗 I’m not one to count calories because I can get a bit obsessive when I start to so I focus more on getting in enough nutrients and having well rounded meals. Lately I have been craving a lot of salads especially after a sweaty session at the gym 🙌🏻🙌🏻. Today was leg day🥵... I could barely walk and was so tired that I couldn’t bear to make myself something warm for a #postworkoutmeal .

Just chickpea flour (I just blended the chickpeas in my Vitamix), added a splash of water, baking powder and some coconut sugar for sweetness. I added some chia seeds to a cup of mixed frozen berries and cooked that up until thick, to spread over the pancakes. Topped everything with toasted coconut flakes and pepitas and enjoyed every single bite of it! Enjoy life and take in all the tasty bites it has to offer 🥞
