I loved this adorable vintage car (slash billboard?) that they had at the Wigwam Village Motel in Rialto, California. It holds a story of the past, just like the rest of the Wigwam Village and of Route 66. .
This is my last post about the Wigwam Villages, and I will be transitioning into more stories about Route 66. One of my favorite places that isn't really a "place" but a feeling. Route 66 has always brought me home. Since 2010, I've been driving Route 66 to get to my parent's home. In 2014, we drove Route 66 to get to Los Angeles, where we lived for two years, and in 2016 we drove Route 66 to get back to St. Louis, which is now our permanent home. In St. Louis, we live off a portion of of Historic Route 66 and I get to drive on Route 66 every day in my daily commute. We even got married and had our wedding reception at two separate places that are both on Route 66. The Mother Road is in my veins. I'm so excited to share more of it with you. - 7 minutes ago
