The Poop King model by Matchbox is No. 22 / 100 for the 2019 series. This is a new model focused on a most unusual subject to the diecast model world - the Portable Toilet. Yes, the two blue boxes in the rear, which are removable, are tiny plastic portable toilet units. This truck, which is nice and hefty coming in at 42 grams, not only breaks the diecast poo barrier, but exceeds the standard 4 part limit for Matchbox models as well. The windows, cistern tank, and tailgate make up one piece. The rear bed has a plastic black insert with the smiling poo king emoji emblazoned on it. The body, base and rear load make up the remaining parts for a total of 5 parts. The model is independently decorated on each side with English on the left side of the cab and German on the right side of the cab. Poop King is cast on the front of the cab over the grille as well as on the base. Let's face it, the model is covered in poop! The blue load on the rear can be placed with the doors facing the left or right side of the model. The added portable potties in the background are Mattel Matchbox pottie units from previous Mattel Matchbox sets. They are from the Matchbox on a Mission Downtown Demolition set ca 2013 (white unit with labels), Matchbox on a Mission Mission Board: Building Busters set ca 2015 (medium blue one), and the Matchbox MBX Construction set ca 2018 (small blue one with loop on top). So it seems that someone at Mattel has had Port a Porties on their mind going back six years! By the way, the medium blue toilet unit from 2015 actually has a toilet, urinal, and toilet paper roll cast on the inside. That's it, I am pooped out.
