THE TEN POSITIONS OF THE SWING - P4️⃣ (top of golf swing) Many use the “P” system to describe positions of the swing. I will take you through each position.
P4️⃣ - top of swing. There are lots of different looks at the top of the swing, but a few keys are:
(1) The trail forearm should be just shy of 90 degrees to the lead arm and club at the top of the backswing. (2) Lead wrist should be rather “flat” at the top. (3). Shoulders should be rotated as close to 90 degrees as you can. (4) Body weight has shifted to the inside part of the trail foot. (5) The left heel is allowed to raise off the ground, but only slightly if necessary. Resistance and “coil” should be felt throughout the body at this point.
