Week 12 Day 6 and 7

Had an absolute blast the last two training days as I have been feeling great and able to really push the limits and get after some things!

Being a reload week from heavy lifting I decided to get after a few challenges and they went pretty well! Got after one from @ryanfisch of

AMRAP 15
25 WB
25 T2B
50 OHS 45#
25 WB

Goal was to get 3 rounds but I only managed 2+105...a very good test and something I can totally re visit again soon!

Then I got after some rowing intervals 
9x500m all under 1:50 with only 60 sec rest in between sets!

Then I got after some bench press and bike intervals that got spicy real quick!

Today though was 🔥🔥 Started the day off with doing 19.5 and met a goal I was looking for and am pretty happy with that. Although I wasn’t disciplined enough to keep to my plan I still managed to hit a decent time! But I know I can shave off a good chunk of time with a proper plan and rep scheme!

This brings me to my next workout 😂 19.5 again! Yes you read that correctly! I wanted to join the fun and Friday Night Lights @crossfitholland is leading up to it I tried to recover as best as possible to get after it again! This time I stuck with a proper scheme and did not divert from it one bit! I managed to hit within 5 seconds of my first time of the day and was extremely happy with that as i know when I’m 100% recovered to do it again, with that plan in mind I’ll reach my new goal!

All in all it was an amazing last two days but I’m sure I’ll be feeling it tomorrow! Just got to stay hard, eat well and keep the eyes forward!!! #resilience #musclemarathon

A nasty little PR from 225——> 255, yay! It was a struggle. I know it doesn’t look like it but it was! I never thought I would be able to lift this kind of weight(I know it’s not much but for me it is.) With these kind of Olympic movements, it’s nice getting the feel and technique down when progressing.
Now to get better at the #gymnastic stuff.

Most of you who know me, know my favorite quote when it comes to gymnastics moves. “There is a reason there are no 250lbs gymnasts!” @crossfitgames you have punched me in the mouth again. Had a plan and it went to shit real fast. Am I where I want to be, no. I will fall far short of my goal this year. Hey, but aren’t we lucky we have six months and #theopen is back upon us. This is it. I will crack the top 20 in Nevada in October. On to the next!

The atmosphere and encouragement from my family and the other members was awesome. I would not have finished in time without them. No redo on this one. One last one for the road - NCFIT X The Hulk. Played with a couple different ideas for the last Santa Clara PR board (for now), and settled on the Hulk as Jason used the hulk in times past as sort of a gym mascot.

Granted this was the next one up after Mat Fraser for sure i had to up the class. Created a grid for more accuracy of scaling and it definitely helped. Played with keeping it black and white/contouring and coloring. With limited colors to work with I played with blending of marker colors while the ink was still wet. Interesting process but I hope you guys enjoy the result.

No I don’t get paid to do this, I do it out of love for my community and as an outlet of expression. For those who care, this one took a cumulative time of about.. 10-12hours.💪🏽

Happy with 19.5 despite how disgusting it was🤮 but felt like I could push more on the pull ups towards the end however am extremely proud of this as for me the barbell was heavy and struggled with driving from my legs. I’ve never been good with upper body strength but big success as I’ve managed to RX the whole open which I thought was impossible for me .
