Elizabeth is feeling and looking so much better since she came into rescue 2 weeks ago. She had her recheck Saturday and the vet is very happy with how she has healed and how much brighter she is. Elizabeth’s histopatholgy report was not the news we had been hoping for and it did show that the mammary tumour that was removed was malignant. However, the report did have hopeful news as the tumour was deemed to be low-grade and all of the margins were clear. There was no recommendation for further treatment and there is every reason to hope that the surgery was curative. While there are no guarantees in life for any of us, we hope that there is that someone special out there who will be willing to give Elizabeth the loving forever family she so deserves, when she is ready. We will be happy to share Elizabeth’s vet records and reports to serious applicants. After years of neglect, Elizabeth is now living life as it should be and we hope she has many years ahead to experience kindness, care, and love. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to @kingsdaleah for their excellent care of Elizabeth.
