Every day before I get started painting I put my tools away. Sounds kinda counter intuitive doesn’t it. Why bother?! I’ve got this awesome tool trolly chock-o-block full of tools and when I put my tools back before a painting session, I know exactly where they are. Super easy to grab and go. Check it out. My Dad would be proud of me if he saw it. He’s the jerry-rigger king!
I’ve got so many divider baskets attached to this trolly that I’ve got to brace myself when I push it across the floor. ‘course that could be weighted from the buckets of water on the top too.
I have one tool in my kit that I’m always losing when I’m painting. It’s a paring knife. It’s like a hundred years old and perfect for scraping and scratching. I’d love another one but it too has to be a hundred years old. Nice and dull so I’m not in too much danger of tearing the canvas. Still, I suppose I could take sandpaper to it! Yikes. Earplugs please! Or, I could drill a hole in the handle, loop a string thru and hang the darn thing off my neck. - 24 minutes ago
